Yeah, I think I'm gonna rule out Roar. So it is pretty much between the two that I had in mind initially.

I'd go for hot n cold

Roar finished 2nd out of 5 [Against | Gimme More, Sound Of The Underground, Power & The Edge Of Glory]

Hot N Cold finished 2nd out of 4 [Against | Baby One More Time, Call The Shots & Touch]

E.T. was used in the final. It lost to (a HUGE Buzzjack fave and classic) Toxic by 20 points.

 

I really think all the choices would be safe. Ngl.

"Hot N Cold" and "E.T" seem to be the best choices in my opinion. I'm not ruling out "Roar" based of the information above, but it's not one of my favourites from Katy, aside the others two mentioned.

I’m the odd one out probably but I’m not hugely into Hot n Cold. Roar is by far my favourite listed!

 

I feel like this would be Roar’s last chance to do well, whereas I assume the other 2 could still perform strongly later on.

I think you should go with Roar - coming 2nd against those massive Buzzjack faves is pretty impressive! Judging by opinions in this thread it's the least liked out of those three - so I'd plump for Roar as it still would do well!

She just doesn't feel like she's doing as well this time around, I feel like Never Really Over love really propelled people's love for Katy nostalgia last time, but now hype is amongst other artists (Gaga and Ariana this time round) so we wouldn't have the same fortune.

I plumped for Hot N Cold because the competition looked tight and... well, I was definitely right. We're going to really need the support here, guys :wub:

We would be able to use anything from Complete Confection though, so Part Of Me is a possibility. And probably the only possibility - definitely wishing I’d saved Wide Awake now but the description wasn’t very clear until a few days ago.

Rent-a-rappers ARE allowed now. The original description was with the intent of preventing any remix that got a singles push (ala those and Calvin's version of 'Say My Name (Spectrum)') an unfair advantage, but it's been opened up now.

 

Wasn't Katy Perry's version of 'Con Calma' THE remix? How about that, if you wanted to use 'E.T.' later? 'Part Of Me' might be a smarter choice due to being more familiar with audiences though.
