I like Mama. My eldest and I had a little tear over that song when we saw them at Wembley.

I love the Spice Girls.

Robbie managed to get you guys through to the next round! :cheer:

Next round is:

ROUND 6: A non-top 75 charting hit

> > Any song that didn't chart in the top 75, but charted on the UK charts. This doesn't HAVE to be a single. As long as it charted, but missed the T75 <

Below I have pasted the list of eligible songs as Jay has prepared an incredible post of all the non-top 75 charting entries that are eligible for each forums!

We hope you enjoy this theme as we discover some lost gems that deserved way more success than they got. <

Your choices are (thanks to Jay!):

Robbie Williams and Take That

#161 – Let in the Sun [Take That]

#176 – Eight Letters [Take That]

* = we have decided to let you have this if you wanted to use it!

oops I don't know the majority of those. I think SOS may be a good choice though? Or Let In the Sun.

if you try and go off the back of popular Buzzjack artists The Days or Dream a Little Dream could be good choices or the Agnetha collaboration.

actually The Days might be the safest choice

OMG !!, we got through with Rudebox, weve' won the competition as far as I am concerned :cheer:

I am thinking Eight Letters -_-

I do not want a cover if at all possible , I am not that familiar with some of the TT songs but Eight Letters was from The Progress album & the more recent one they did together . The night owl will be here later so I will ask Laura

Elisabeth, have you any preferences :music:

Remember this is a double elimination - we need to have our selection submitted by 23rd MAY 2020 - 17:59 (BST)

I think SOS (another Progress track and a Robbie heavy one!) or The Days. I personally think something upbeat will stand out more but that’s just my opinion!

I agree , SOS is also a good song . I forgot about The Days Avacii/Robbie ( written by Brandon Flowers ) , that could be a good choice , we need something upbeat :music:

Kind of surprised The Garden hasn't been mentioned so far! It's a major highlight from The Circus.

I don't know how well liked it is, but 'The Days' definitely has potential. It was really unlucky to not be a UK hit - it was a top 10 hit in numerous European countries and Australia (and even spent a month in the Spotify global top 5), and had a UK release on pre-order, but it ended up getting scrapped. It reached #82 from streaming alone, in the early days of streaming being in the charts. I'm sure it's the most known song in the list by miles.

I do like it personally! Though I don't think anyone would consider it one of Avicii's best (and no doubt the same for Robbie).

It's only because I am not that familiar with it, did Jason sing that song or am I thinking of another one

Mostly Mark and Gary, from memory!

I'm not hugely keen on The Days, but I suppose it has potential to mop up some votes from members who like Avicii even if they're not Robbie fans.

Eight Letters for me

for the beautiful lyrics and all that it meant in Progress

and well done RW/TT for getting through. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
