The champs for 113 are Gorillaz with their second single '19/2000' also going under 'Get The Cool Shoeshine' from the bands debut album which is self titled as Gorillaz. It charted at 6 in June 2001. The song features Talking Heads sole female member, bassist Tina Weymouth on vocals. Radio stations were rotating between using the standard version and the soulchild remix which was used in adverts. I've tagged a video using both versions one after the other fwiw!

and appearing for a second time in a survivor and doing enough to make 113th best song of 2009 is The Saturdays with 'Up' which won the 71st edition in a close battle with Prodigy's 'Omen'. This time though it comes runner up!

1st Blink 182 - I Miss You (21/33 Votes)

Blink 182 take the win with 'I Miss You' which peaked at 8 in early 2004. The second single to be taken off their self titled 5th album. The video specifically being another Kerrang staple of the time with it being shot in a 1930's style horror house and Mark Hoppus playing double bass inspired by The Cure's Phil Thornally in the song 'Lovecats'. It was also directed by Jonas Åkerlund who was behind the videos for 'Beautiful' by Christina Aguilera and 'Smack My Bitch Up' by The Prodigy.

Meanwhile Canadian electronic music composer deadmau5 and American DJ Kaskade with Helen Tibby on uncredited vocals lands in 2nd place with 'I Remember'. It peaked at 14 in May 2009. The video for the track features actors Stephen Graham, Warren Brown, Aston Kelly (Graham's brother), Greg Costello and Corrie actress Emma Edmonson.
