June 26, 20204 yr I really like it! Reminds me a lot of Kill This Love but I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all!
June 26, 20204 yr Loved it on first listen. I'm going to watch the video the first thing after I've finished work. I'm so excited!!!
June 26, 20204 yr It hasn’t given me the same AHHH THIS IS AMAZING vibes as I got from the first listen of Kill This Love but I get a strong sense of it being a grower and I do think it’s really good.
June 26, 20204 yr I was underwhelmed at first, but have listened to it on repeat and it is now a certified BOP.
June 26, 20204 yr First and second listen: Solid, but underwhelming. Especially the transitioning from the first verse (which is GORGEOUS - reminds me of 'Forever Young' kinda) into the chorus. But then everything flows nicely in true BLACKPINK fassion. Lisa completely and utterly steals this though. The video, the song... everything! What a star!
June 26, 20204 yr Was also v. underwhelmed on 1st listen but already enjoying it much more on 2nd listen so I'm glad this is probs gonna be a big grower for me *.*
June 26, 20204 yr Really hope they can break the YT 24 hour record. Kill This Love got 56.7m and 74.6m is the number to beat. Seems like they’ll outdo Kill This Love for sure
June 26, 20204 yr #1 on itunes almost everywhere  and video already over 30 million :cheeseblock:
June 26, 20204 yr I am officially sold...I think it's already my 3rd favorite song of theirs after Boombayah and Playing With Fire  and 50+million in 12 hours...I think it will go up to 80+ million by the end of the day :o
June 26, 20204 yr I'm preferring this to Kill This Love! I think the fact the song evolves throughout is a selling point for it and it's definitely a grower rather than instant one. Hopefully this can go top 40 and stick around a bit as they probably are the 2nd most popular K-Pop band after BTS in the UK imo! I do think I am still scarred by James Charles parading around in his assless chaps to Kill This Love at Coachella has killed any love I had for that song.
June 27, 20204 yr Really hope they can break the YT 24 hour record. Kill This Love got 56.7m and 74.6m is the number to beat. Seems like they’ll outdo Kill This Love for sure63.7m views right now so demolished KTL record. I think it's gonna do it. There are 7 hours left... I think it'll be about 76m!
June 27, 20204 yr They’ve done it! Already has 79.4m views with an hour left to go! What an achievement.
June 27, 20204 yr 82.4 million views at the 24 hour mark, but sometimes YT’s official numbers for first 24 hours are a bit higher or lower than expected
June 27, 20204 yr they debuted #5 in WW spotify with 4+ million streams...I think it's a good numbers!!!

June 28, 20204 yr Not to detract from them but I don't think it necessarily is official yet (unless YouTube have confirmed it but I don't think they have yet judging by a quick Google) - there was a rule change last year in how YouTube officially judges the 24 hour views record because of another song (Badshah's 'Paagal') buying its way to the record with paid advertising views and it came to light after that that paid advertising views had been included in some of the previous record holding songs as well (including BLACKPINK's own previous record), advertising views are now subtracted from the 'official' 24 hour total. I don't know if they bought advertising views for this song as well but it is still a practice that's been going on since the rule change, for example (and sorry to taint this thread by bringing him up) 6ix9ine recently appeared to beat the record for the biggest 24 hours for a hip-hop video with 'GOOBA' but YouTube later said it didn't beat the record because several million views were excluded due to the new rules. (edit: actually that's not quite right, 'GOOBA' did narrowly beat the record even after having several million views removed, it was 'TROLLZ' that was claimed to beat the record again but YouTube then demoted it) Either way though that is really massive for them, I know they always crush on YouTube but I don't know if I'd have predicted they'd even be in contention to beat BTS' record!
