Im assuming all the existing stock is sold out and anything available wont be shipping for a while yet.

Annoying they haven’t shipped my marble vinyl because it’s on the same order as the picture disc…pretty sure they only added the delayed shipping info re the picture vinyl after I placed the order.

Hate it when they do that - they delayed peoples ‘Disco’ orders too because of a delayed item, if they have insufficient stock based on the pre-orders they sold then they should take the hit (especially as the massively overcharge for postage!) and do 2 separate shipments.

I received my Marble vinyl today! I'm so pleased with its appearance. It looks and feels like a really high quality pressing. A lot of other reissues totally look like they were thrown together quickly and cheaply as a money making exercise (cough, Spice Girls). It's still a relief that BMG went the extra mile to obtain the original pictures in order to reproduce this - it would have been a crying shame if they'd used the bad 2003 scan.

Exactly. No one knows how many where released....

 

Could be 500 of each, could be 2000 lol. How many sold in UK too who knows ?

 

Wonder how many streaming sales it will get? 4 or 5? Lol

 

Hoping some prominent displays in HMV

It does seem as though there’s more copies of this hence more effort in the videos and socials…..we’ll know more Monday and of course if it charts well in Australia and perhaps in some other territories.

Totally this - I have no idea what to expect or where it will end up, ultimately I’m just over the moon we have it but I’m equally pleased to see that it appears to be selling well.

 

We’ve never had a Kylie re-issue that we can even refer back to, her other vinyl re-releases have on the whole been one vinyl in stupidly limited numbers, the fact this has 4 different pressings and good availability outside of her website at HMV, Amazon and the indies means there is plenty to be sold out there.

 

Would love to see it get decent sales and a high chart position but the main thing is like you say, the effort and quality control into the release and giving fans exactly what they want.

It is hard to know what to expect, I'm hoping no lower than top 30 but I think she will start the week out easily in the top 10.

My marble one arrived today and I really like it, it just feels really well done and I love how glossy and clear the cover art is. The vinyl itself is a really nice colour too, brighter than I expected so it matches the artwork really well

It's also quite a busy week, I'd be ecstatic if it could find a place in the top 20 - that would still be its second highest placing ever.

Love that Kylie/BMG are promoting it on socials rather than just letting it do it’s own thing.

How many vinyl copies did Disco sell in its first week?

Would not be surprised if we see signed copies turn up midweek once the midweeks are out to see if they can squeeze a top 10 or top 20 place with these extras.

 

Or if not needed then maybe release signed copies when the other picture discs are released later in December to boost the week.
