Apparently this was going to be the original artwork in 2016, before creative differences occurred with David LaChapelle re: the Make Me... video. That's why we ended up with the cover we got instead!

 

I appreciate this random and unexpected retcon of the album cover! We need this cover on vinyl! Make it happen, Team Britney :cheer: Also change the Deluxe artwork please, that's all we have on streaming in the UK~

 

I'll always be a bit :') at how similar the Femme Fatale, Britney Jean and Glory covers are. Head shots, her looking up. It makes her artwork come across as being quite samey. Original Glory would have been an extremely welcome change. At least we have it now!

Oh I thought this was a wind up and this was a fan-made! :o I do really like it though, it feels much more appropriate for the album title: bright and sunny with Britney basking in its glory.

I wonder if this means that they've (belatedly) come to some sort of deal with David (perhaps to use him in the next era?) and we'll get the original 'Make Me' video? :thinking:

So basically this confirms her label does shitty job in most of the decision making regarding her career!!!

 

I love this new photo but what is the point of doing this so long after the release? Just seems pretty pointless to me.
