Why has Foxes released on a Wednesday? Surely for an artist like her the only realistic chance of charting would be in the first week?

I forgot she was releasing on a Wednesday and wondered why there wasn't a new iTunes thread :') I doubt she'll make top 100 regardless tbf. Hopefully on iTunes though.

By this point I would think Foxes is largely forgotten by the mainstream and won't be troubling the chart at all regardless... :P

Foxes is back? Is she independent now?

She had a few amazing singles back in the day... Love Not Loving You is a cute little song.

Although her 80s influenced pop style has had a resurgence recently, and Clarity is still a reasonably well remembered song.

Edit: just heard it and it isn't synthwave/synthpop to my surprise. :o

Looks like she has gone independent and I was expecting her to go really indie, especially from the artwork posted on her socials. The song is absolutely brilliant, quirky! She may not have mainstream success but really hope we get an album. She is really good live! Wonder how high she can get on iTunes?
Looking forward to hearing the Foxes song, her return has been long overdue! Also there's new Sia and new Ellie today, isn't there?

I guess the trend of song a sampling a much older song and becoming a huge hit is continuing into this decade then. At least the samples are becoming a bit more inspired now (albeit more offensive) and not just basic retreading of R&B hits from the late 90s/early 00s

Edit: wow I can’t believe my 8,000th post on here was me whining about this lmao

Foxes latest album All I need was such an underrated masterpiece , with amazing songs like “Body Talk”, “Amazing”, “Cruel”, “ Better Love”, If you leave me now etc.... its a shame it didnt sell as much as deserved.... if it was released this year it would have done so much better with its 80s influence...
New Foxes is underwhelming. :(

Complete opposite for me, obsessed with it.

Lauryn Hill did a much better rendering of Cant Take My Eyes Off Of You, while this cover is just babyish garbage. I hope it doesn’t become a huge hit
I'm loving the new Foxes track, just listened to it for the first time. Good to see it appearing in the iTunes charts today (and selling 10 copies).
