July 1, 20205 yr Actually no! I meant as in it's not a stripped back cover of an old classic like 90% of the dance in the charts atm. Plus it's an upbeat deep house kind of track which we haven't seen a lot of in recent years.
July 1, 20205 yr Thing is though I’d couple this as being similar to Joel Corry, Topic, Meduza, Becky Hill etc all of which fall under the house/dance-pop genre

Fair point re: it not being a cover :lol: I just think this kind of sounds exactly like a Joel Corry song or something, I actually specifically thought the first time I heard it in BJSC that it sounds like something I could imagine becoming a mainstream hit single (I didn't think it actually would as both the song and artist seemed pretty obscure at the time and that was only a couple of months ago but I guess he must have some label backing here).
