Posted June 9, 20205 yr This week it's time for the fifth and final Ariana album party - time flies! We conclude with her latest record-breaking release 'thank u, next'. This album contains three #1 singles in 'thank u, next', '7 rings' and 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored', plus a further two top 10s in 'imagine' and 'needy'. As always, this will begin at 8:30 BST time and the running time is around 41 minutes. Time to go out on a high! If you missed all the previous parties, here's how they work for a final time: Hi all :hi: Recently the Kylie and Spice Girls forums have showcased the brilliant idea of forum album parties. The way this works is simultaneously starting an album at the same time and commenting along with each track in the thread. I was wondering if there would be interest in doing the same with each album for Ariana? She only has 5 studio albums so not too daunting a task! I see a lot of comments on here saying that people haven't heard 'Yours Truly' before so this would be a great opportunity to rectify this. There would be a separate session for every album with a decided day and time where we'd all start and comment along. We all listen separately and just start at the same time so we're in sync! I used Spotify for the Spice Girls one for instance but whatever works for you - iTunes, a YouTube playlist of the album etc. I'll drop a YouTube embed of each song in the thread as it starts too. It's done this way and not on plug to encourage the discussion to take place in the AF and not offsite if that makes sense! June 9, 20205 yr Author 'imagine' is a beautiful opener :wub: I really underrated this when it first came out but it's quietly crept up on me. Love the strings and whistle notes especially!
June 9, 20205 yr The Imaaaaaaaaagine a world like that's always take my breath away :heart: Like I said in my countdown, I was totally underwhelmed by this after the genius of 'tu,n' but it's really quite magical when you get into it.

June 9, 20205 yr Imagine is a really good album opener and promo single! It deserved it's top 10 peak in my opinion, would've liked it to be a proper single but I can't imagine (lol) it would've re-peaked so idk. Also adore the whistle-note ending!
June 9, 20205 yr Needy? A relatable anthem. And totally underrated by like almost everyone :cry: It's so atmospherical and dark. Perfect for 'thank u, next', and the lyrics just add to that. One of my all time faves in her whole discography :wub: Who's with me :michelle:
