Out second in ninth place is one of my favourites from the list. It is also the second song booted out in a row that was first released near the end of the 20th century but found a new audience during the noughties - albeit for different reasons. 'Mysterious Girl' was first released in the UK in 1996 and peaked at #2 as well as becoming a big hit throughout Europe and Australia. The song served as Peter's international breakthrough single and even became the ninth biggest-selling single of 1996 in the UK! Fast forward eight years and the song is granted a re-release after Peter's career resurgence on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in early 2004. The song sold over 107,000 copies to become Peter's third UK chart topper and briefly reignited his pop music career. Yes the song is a bit cheesy and corny but there is something about his delivery, the reggae backing and the summer vibe to it that instantly puts a smile on my face. I can't believe it's out in ninth place!!

FUCK YOU I WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME :cheeseblock:

Between Basshunter, Shaggy and The Ketchup Song now. I've gone for the former, but I can join any voting bandwagon x

Basshunter now, that never should have been a 5 week no.1.
