The production goes absolutely no where, I think it’s literally the exact same through the entire song with no peaks or drops. The production in the original with the last verse into the no music chorus and then into the big production pre chorus is magical.

Madonna and Missy sound good but the for me a song actually has to go somewhere production wise

Hmm I'm not sure I like it on first listen. Very boring production compared to the original (where I think the production really stands out!) This is kind of what I feared when I heard the word 'remix.'
I don't think it's terrible! I prefer the original obviously, but it's rare for a remix to better the original so on that note I am glad this offers something quite a bit different. I can see myself returning to this dependent on my mood as opposed to totally disregarding it like many comments suggest. Madonna sounds amazing on it too!
Madonna is the only saving grace of this
I enjoy the contributions from the featured artists, but what they add is less than what they have taken away from the production. What makes this such a good song is the contrast in sound between the verses and chorus, but this is all one note. Shame, I've been so excited for this. Please release a version which is a hybrid of this and the original.
I'll be eating anything up in a club when it opens tbh but this is not it aside from that :(

both Madonna and Missy did an amazing job.

Listening now for 3rd time and it's already replacing the original version in my head!!!

This isn’t great tbh.

Madonna is the best part of it but missy doesn’t really fit. I was hoping it’d be more like the album version but this remix kinda kills the joy of the song.

Madonna sounds great but the production is so dull and takes away from the magic and charm of what Levitating had initially. I am definitely disappointed, this isn't a patch on the original but I probably will get a bit of mileage out of this.

I like it as a remix but not as a single and I think the original had a lot of single potential, I think that's the problem.

This was never on a plan to sound identical to the original with just new Madonna and Missy verses!!!

If you listen to all Blessed Madonna remixes, you would know and what to expect sound-wise.

Perhaps the original will be pushed on radios so we'll have to wait and see!!!

I'm sure there will be a fan-made version that puts Madonna and Missy on the original production at some point.

Madonna (especially) and Missy sound great but it completely sucked the bombastic energy out and forgot to replace it with anything worthwhile. It just plods along.

It's fine as a remix but as a single? I'm not sure — at least they all sound like they belong together rather than some mishmash.

i personally really like it!! people who are slandering it don't understand the point of it: it's a club mix part of a continuous "mixtape".

Eeeek

The production was a major highlight of the original so its a shame that has been stripped for a very similar style throughout the whole song, there is no distinction between the verses and chorus. As Madonna really wasn't needed as she literally just covers the second verse, brought in for her name and that is about it! Missy's new verse was appreciated but not enough to save this!

Definitely not a single so lets hope Hallucinate keeps climbing up and hopeful the original can be released in autumn/winter time

I appreciate it and everything because you know .. she got Madonna on a track... but it’s a travesty if they push this as a single instead of the original version which is only about 10000x better...
