So glad it’s having such a positive effect on Folklore. I’m finding this very confusing because I want to be listening to Evermore, Folklore, the lakes, this new Christmas track all at the same time. Too much Taylor choice
Can't they just spell out the rest of the titles, that looks odd.

I'm glad to see this boost! Her power.

omg ikr!!! I copied & pasted one of the US updates into the chart watching thread earlier and some of the abbreviations were awful!!

(tho it probs has to do with twitter character limit!)

This is awful but I've only just finished listening to Folklore in full tonight  better late than never but still a bit bad because I'm a major fan of hers lol.

This does indeed have plenty of calming, lovely songs on here. My faves off it are 'Exile', 'Cardigan', 'The Last Great Dynasty', 'August', Epiphany, 'Betty' and 'Peace'. Ngl a few didn't grab me but luckily the number of those was very little. Overall it's a solid, cohesive album I'd say.

It's also a real grower! You'll like it more and more with every listen I think! :D

Popping into say I only decided to give this album another try when she released Evermore (I played it twice in the summer but I was listening to so many albums it got lost in the shuffle if that makes sense, apart from The 1/ Cardigan) and I am in love. Stun. August might be her best ever. My ranking xoxoxox

1. August

2. This Is Me Trying

3. Cardigan

4. Invisible String

5. Exile

6. Mad Woman

7. Betty

8. The 1

9. My Tears Ricochet

10. Hoax

11. Illict Affairs

12. The Lakes

13. The Last Great American Dynasty

14. Seven

15. Epiphany

16. Mirrorball

17. Peace

The top 15 are all 9+ though

Evermore now :cheeseblock:

  • 3 weeks later...

Ranking folklore is a difficult task because the quality is so high throughout, but at the moment I would go with this order...

1. august

2. this is me trying

3. exile

4. cardigan

5. illicit affairs

6. the last great american dynasty [this has grown on me so much]

7. my tears ricochet

8. mirrorball

9. epiphany

10. peace [i get the impression that not many would place 'peace' this high up, but it clicks with me]

11. mad woman

12. invisible string

13. betty

14. seven

15. the 1

16. the lakes

17. hoax [something had to be last and this suffers because it's the song I tend to struggle to recall how it goes... but I do love the lyrics of the bridge]

Even though 'the 1' is only 15th, I would give it a score of 8 if I was to rate!

yeah I think this might just be unstoppable for any album to top this for me, I still listen to it in full so regularly  (in the last couple of weeks I've probs listened to this in full more than evermore :kink:)
