In fifth place is one of the radio staples from the mid-noughties - Daniel Powter's 2005 single 'Bad Day'. The song was released in the UK in August 2005 and entered the chart at #2 behind the mammoth hit 'You're Beautiful'. The song managed three weeks in the runner-up position - blocked by James Blunt each week. For some reason I always thought 'Bad Day' was a big selling #5 hit. I don't know where I got that info from lol. I don't understand the hate I've seen it get - maybe the lyrics are a little cliche and unbelievable but it's very catchy and I stan the video. A very creative visual!

Smile is sooo bottom tier Lily though. :kink: Even if we're talking debut era. LDN > Alfie > Littlest Things > Smile. B-) But I agree with you re: Reach. I just never liked it and found it highly annoying even as a 6 year old. I think 7 is really solid pop album but I just never digged the two massive hits from it. Maybe overplay?

I voted the Fray as that one really got on my nerves. Didn’t help that someone I hated at school constantly (over)sang it all the time back then.

I’d be happy to see Smile leave as well, so average looking back.

Bad Day is absolutely horrendous :puke2: thank the heavens that didn't make it any further.

Going for the Fray next. I don't mind it but the other 3 are a little ahead.

S club 7 just got a load of votes all of a sudden.

Meh, that’s the way it is.

I remember being astounded with it happening to Anastacia and (in the ultimate survivor) Spiller but it’s just how it goes.

This round being the only top 3 with only one good song will be awful though.

The Fray. I'm kinda surprised that S Club 7 are in trouble, should be top 2 but then it leads to a very safe Evanescence win I think :D
