August 4, 20205 yr Pop Smoke looking like he might make it to make it 5 straight weeks in the top 3 on the albums chart, that's quite amazing for a rap album. I'd guess Drake's 'Scorpion' (which also had 5 consecutive weeks in the top 3, 6 in total) is the last one to match that? Eminem's last 2 albums both only spent 4 weeks in the top 3, can't immediately think of any other rappers who even come close to the level of longevity Drake and Eminem get unless I'm forgetting someone obvious. edit: was forgetting Stormzy but he only had 3 consecutive and 4 total weeks in the top 3 with 'Heavy Is The Head'. Also Post Malone whose last album spent 3 weeks in the top 3.
August 4, 20205 yr It wouldn't surprise me if Fine Line falls out of the top 10 as we move into Q4, or even before then if we have a busy week (it so nearly fell out a couple of weeks ago!), but its longevity has been SO impressive - I doubt anyone saw this coming, I know I didn't! August 5, 20205 yr Harry’s had such a strong impressive era! It’s been well deserved. It’s just such a shame it never went to #1 :( especially as there’s been a few albums this year what debuted at #1 and then never spent another week in the top ten.

August 5, 20205 yr Really impressive seeing Fine Line against all the other 1D releases like that. It’s been huge for him, agree it’s a shame it hasn’t made the top 2 yet though.
August 5, 20205 yr Harry really has done great with Fine Line and seeing it against all the one direction releases showcases it more. Fine line still has a good few sales left in yet but it seems to be consistently selling about 5.5k every week since its release. Wouldn't be surprised to see a deluxe release later in the year.
