April 25, 20214 yr Yeah not sure I’ll be watching my recording of that one  glad that the game I chose to watch today was the later kick off that turned into a 5 nil thrashing of Armenia Bielefeld at the hands of Gladbach
April 25, 20214 yr Leeds defended very well during the match and there was no way through for us. It would probably still be 0-0 now if the match was still going on
April 25, 20214 yr I thought Leeds looked dangerous as well. 0-0 probably the right result. Sky very obviously highlighting players who came through from the lower leagues today in light of the ESL debacale. They mentioned Stuart Dallas played for Crusaders twice.
April 25, 20214 yr Author I thought Leeds looked dangerous as well. 0-0 probably the right result. Sky very obviously highlighting players who came through from the lower leagues today in light of the ESL debacale. They mentioned Stuart Dallas played for Crusaders twice. Which I find beyond mad. The whole entire narrative of the ESL has been re-written.. the ESL clubs were not going to leave the Premier League  Grassroots football is fundamental, but the problem right now is the Premier League does not distribute anywhere near enough wealth and unfortunately the owners of the other 14 clubs now seem to have taken the moral highground of football when they're all equally as greedy.
April 25, 20214 yr It doesn’t let enough money ‘trickle down’ like any capitalist market system. But the main arguement for me was the lack of competition. The premier league may have been still on at the weekend but what’s the point in it if the European cup places would be going to fixed set clubs. That’s the point!
April 25, 20214 yr West Brom dropped 2 points against Aston Villa after Keinan Davis scored a 92nd minute equalizer against them, they're 9 points off safety and Fulham are 7 points off safety with only 5 games left so it's looking like relegation is sorted. With Norwich and Watford gaining promotion next season will almost be a carbon copy of the 2019/20 season if Bournemouth win the Championship play offs as well. Of the 20 teams Leeds would be the only odd one out so the people who wanted the 19/20 season to be nulled and void would in that scenario effectively get their wish but a year and a half later than when they wanted it to happen. I can't think of another time when a bunch of promoted/relegated sides swapped places in the following season like this.
April 26, 20214 yr Two draws against two of the big clubs is fab to see for Leeds! Hopefully the good streak continues.
April 28, 20214 yr Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes will miss the rest of the Premier League season in order to have further surgery on his left knee. The 23-year-old has not played since picking up the injury in Leicester's 3-1 defeat against Arsenal in February. He will be unavailable for selection for England at Euro 2020, with a 26-man squad to be named in late May.
May 1, 20214 yr That win over Leeds should be good enough for Brighton. Their only previous top-flight run lasted four seasons. A fifth season this time round looks highly probable. Leeds have lost their last five league games at Brighton without scoring. That is the first time they have done that against any opponent.
May 2, 20214 yr Crazy scenes at Old Trafford today as fans managed to break into the stadium and get onto the pitch to protest against the Glazers. Hundreds of fans outside the stadium as well.
May 2, 20214 yr Sky are reporting that the referee Michael Oliver has been turned away from the stadium. I think it’s fair to assume this game won’t be kicking off at 4.30pm.
May 2, 20214 yr So stupid. I support protests against our leech owners but I do not support the pitch damage and stadium damage and preventing the team from leaving the hotel. Stopping Michael Oliver from stepping on our hallowed turf I can get behind. Shite ref. (Although not the worse. A couple of others should be prevented from stepping foot in M16)
May 2, 20214 yr Author Can always count on the green and gold flags to come out once in a blue moon. I'm all for a protest, but gatecrashing the stadium on a matchday with covid protocols is just madness. Wouldn't call that a protest, not when you're nicking a corner flag :D
May 2, 20214 yr Author Why couldn't they do this on Thursday night instead? This better not clash with Line of Duty otherwise I'll be fuming!!
May 2, 20214 yr Why couldn't they do this on Thursday night instead? This better not clash with Line of Duty otherwise I'll be fuming!! The Europa match would have kicked off at midnight if they did this on Thursday  , there's always the BBC iPlayer anyway for that where you can watch programmes during and straight after original broadcast.
