not sure what it means to do well "metrically" but Holiday is #28 on Apple Music, #28 on Spotify,

#20 on Amazon and #14 on iTunes, it's that's not doing well, you need a reality check

Well metrically it isn’t doing well compared to what they have released before.

Please don’t tell me I need a reality check- it’s rude.

Maybe I'm being a bit naive but it seems to me quite obvious why Little Mix (and Katy Perry) are flopping... The music isn't good enough and there isn't enough good publicity. Katy needs Dr R@pe to have a hit big enough to provide a successful era and Little Mix needs Syco and The X Factor for promo, not rip-offs of other tracks, a trend they started in 2018 with the Rita Ora-derivative "Only You".

you realise Little Mix are at #14? Katy Perry is not even top 100 so that's a flop, but a song at #14, come on? on which planet that's a flop?
It's a relative flop... I'm with Cognizant on this one, #14 is OK but this middling charting only started when they began releasing sub-par, reductive tracks

You cannot compare pre-stream vs stream metrics, times have changed, a pop act like Little Mix being at #14 in 2020 is a sorta miracle

the iTunes days are long gone

Women Like Me was released in the streaming era...

You’re missing my point here completely.

#14 is respectable but it’s is clear as day that Little Mix are no longer the force they used to be, and will likely disband after this album or the next.

Katy is comfortably top 100

As aghast as I am at the notion of Bjork telling someone else they need a reality check, I don’t know if he’s all that wrong in this instance.

So based on all of the above, I can’t see the band having any longevity.

I agree they're very much on the wane, but 9 years and counting sounds like longevity to me.

I expect Taylor to climb to 2 now as she just released a deluxe version

I don’t understand why I need a reality check?

All I said was that Little Mix’s success dwindling single by single, and that they will likely disband after this album or the next. Ok basing this on stats of how well they are doing!

I agree that they have had incredible success and longevity for a girl group- which notoriously don’t-but I can’t see them sustaining that longevity passed this era or the next.

But how well they're doing doesn't indicate whether they'll split? Girls Aloud went on "hiatus" after their biggest era. 1D's final album was their most successful single-wise. Little Mix not doing as well as the Glory Days era does not mean they'll split.

Obviously this isn't Little Mix's most successful era (that'd be absurd for a girlgroup a decade into their career) but they're still doing more than well enough that I'm not sure why they'd be calling it quits any time in the foreseeable future (unless for a reason other than declining numbers). The gap in the market for their music clearly still exists.

Looks like H&H will be ACR on its 10th week so there's another #1 for Drake.

He'd need to get past Nathan and Cardi first! I think if Drake gets a #1 from this era it's more likely it'll be with a different song.
