Congrats to all the finalists! Great to see Flynnonda in and St. Burbia. Sad to see Why So Sirius out and I wonder how other potentials could have fared :( Maybe we are better with bangers and regardless whether we are going to the finals, this is what we will be sending for next edition. ;)

Glad to have qualified. Once Terra Avium got through I started to get hopeful because you never really know if you are safe when you have mainly pop people in there lol.

Yay! Thanks guys! Was a bit worried after the reactions on Plug and the predictions but I'm glad 'tonight' found its way to the final. It's a great disco-pop BOP and it's been my favourite track for a couple weeks now!

 

Good qualifiers all around too, it's going to be a good final!

Yes! I did have a good bit of confidence in this entry but after people kept predicting me out I didn't want to feel that too strongly, as I've been wrong in the past, thanks for getting me through everyone ^_^

 

Also very good results on the whole, I only lost my 5-pointer in Pagasa and my 1-pointer in Trifoski, and while that's disappointing, with most of my favourites through and most of the highlights I'd noticed from semi 2 being fine, I'm going to call that best results in a long while.

Another song by Katie Dey popped up on my recommended the other day and I liked the sound of it, looking forward to hearing this one!

 

Oh, which one was it? 'Happiness' is also absolutely fantastic, I figured 'Darkness' was easier to get into if you were hearing her for the first time, hence why I chose that one, but they're pretty much equal in my eyes. And the whole of her latest album sounds pretty good too.

I did wonder if either Beaverdonia or Suedeonia could have been nul pointers!

 

Not that each wasn't enjoyable in its own way. There's a great schlager song somewhere in Suedeonia's, but it's hidden deep below some questionable vocals! It was very entertaining though.

 

So close for Sandénia, such a shame, really beautiful entry. Quite shocked Tartford missed out too, a decent new single from Groove Armada had top 20 written all over it.

 

At least one schlager-ish song got through for Singerpurear though.

 

Poor dan G didn't get though with his instrumental from 8 years ago, if only Danæviia had of been in my semi final.

i was going to send "Faces" over the next couple of months (well was hoping to!). I think I'd even confirmed it this year in Feb. Great song.
