Not her best by a long way.

Love the song and video - minus K Fed and beginning the unfortunate trend of her boyfriends appearing in her music videos.

Britney's cover versions were very hit-and-miss but this was probably her best for me! The lyrics were well-suited to her and I enjoyed the revamp of the production.

This is definitely one of her most underrated and often forgotten singles. Absolutely love this and the fab video as well.

I like it, and I do feel like she made it her own - but it's not one of my ultimate fave Britney songs and I don't play it too regularly. I remember being pleased that this out-peaked Christina Aguilera's Car Wash :kink:

 

When Britney released her version, Bobby Brown's original was 16 years old... and now Britney's version is 16 years old!

I liked this song back then, I was a child at the time and I am sure many children learnt the meaning of the word 'Prerogative' through this song title and then looking it up in a dictionary at the time so thumbs up for his song being educational.
