'Only Girl (In The World)' felt very dated very quickly for me so it getting its best results here 9-10 years after its release is pretty baffling. 'On The Floor' is very dated as well although in a bit more of a fun nostalgic way so I get that a bit more xx Shame about CHVRCHES having a dropoff but still another year in the top 30 for a song that only barely made the top 40, can't complain too much.

I've listened to Faded a couple of times in the last week as it was something that completely passed me by and I had absolutely no idea what it was or why type of music it is. Quite a good discovery and can see why it's so high.

I think I've voted for slightly more than half of what's left which I'm calling a good result, pleased at that.

Great to see 'On The Floor' making a big jump this year, one of the absolute best tracks to come out of the pop club banger era.

Nice to have 'Only Girl' remain stable in its final year too plus 'New Rules' and 'Faded' still nice and high.

Not a big 'The Mother We Share' fan so don't mind that dropping a bit this year.

Starting the final quarter is a big rebound for David Guetta & Sia whose 'Titanium' is back in the top 40 where it belongs for its 7th year having dropped to #59 last year. David hasn't had a great year with his other tracks with only 'Commander' making it to the semis but it seems at least this one will always be fondly remembered. Sia still has 'Chandelier' yet to come in the top 20. Lady Gaga has the next two tracks with 'Telephone' making a great final showing at #24 just a place behind its peak position. Meanwhile 'Shallow' is following its initial chart run in climbing to #23. With the song still in the UK top 100 it's fair to say it's become one of her signature songs and I'm sure will likewise complete a decade in the RotD final.

Loreen surprised a few by failing to reach the final as an autoqualifer, however 'Euphoria' managed 3rd in its semi and ends up again as the 3rd-highest non-autoqualifier here - although it is the first year that it exits the top 20, down to #22 (not as surprising as it otherwise looks considering its 10th place finish in 2012). Buzzjack made sure to make Kylie's last year of her final solo top 10 hit count as 'All The Lovers' has a massive resurgence into the final for the first time since 2012 and at a new peak of #21 too. It's always nice to see a track finish on a high although it's one that didn't come close to getting points from me.

Get it Dua still in the running! Hopefully Physical will challenge for the win next year <3

All The Lovers also completely DESERVEDT!!

^ Ooh yes I'm already 100% behind 'Physical' challenging for the win next year!

Triple Ariana in the top 20

That climb for 'All The Lovers' :o I must admit that it went over my head a little at the time of release but has really blossomed in my affections over the years. A gorgeous and euphoric release from Kylie that is now up there with her classics.

Only 2 dance songs in the top 20. :(
nice too see some indie/alt artists doing well too among the pop girls

Euphoria my 40  Bit :nocheer: at the fall though.

Really surprised Alejandro is Gaga’s highest :o

The results have been all over the place for Loreen this year  I guess a few of its big supporters must have not been voting this time around.

Great to see 'Shallow' climbing this year and 'Telephone' also finishing on a high (so close to re-peaking). 'All The Lovers' is decent but definitely a bit overrated on here I think oop ~

'Alejandro' as Gaga's top song is surprising but not complaining as it is one of her best! Dua really cleaning up compared to everything else from 2019 :o

Tbh since Eurovision is now a while ago I'm pretty over Euphoria. It was a great Eurovision song but now sounds very of that era. Its not something I seek out to listen to any more.

I'd also actually say the same of Telephone so I'm surprised to see that holding up so high - I guess a lot of the better Gaga tracks have gone by now.

I wonder if post TFM tracks going some Artpop tracks will start getting nominated.

Kicking off the top 20 are two songs which take climbs and rebound after a drop in 2019. Adele dropped from 19th to 204th last year, however this year she almost completely reverses that change by climbing back into the top 20. Someone Like You debuted within the top 10, however hasn’t reached those peaks since and has been yo-yoing up and down the chart. This year the song is back in vogue and becomes Adele’s highest placed track.

Also here Bastille rebounds up the chart and enters the top 20 for the first time and reaches a new peak. Released in 2013, the song has been fairly consistent in the top 100 barring 1 year, however this year manages to get its best ranking to date.

What a run in the last 4 years for 'Someone Like You' x

Here for 'Pompeii' finally making the top 20!

Our first surprise drop of the top 20 comes from Ariana whose 'One Last Time' is down ten from last year, having nearly made it to #1 following the song's chart revival. Ariana still has two tracks yet to appear - they were both in the top five last year but as ever there is a lot of change at the top. Meanwhile Lana Del Rey is in the top 20 for another year with 'Video Games' - it is her highest track here once again which I can't complain with given it's my favourite of her non-remixed output.

(and yay for 'Pompeii' getting a big boost this year!)

I was cheering when Someone Like You dropped out of the top 200 last year :( Still can't understand what elevates it so much above your average crooning ballad, it's just kinda dull - something that isn't the case with the other big Adele songs.

Pompeii though is a moment *.* So pleasingly dramatic.

Video Games and Someone Like You are both 11/10 songs, possibly in my top 5of the decade.

Pompeii is also great

and then you have that Ariana song :o

Tears of joy for RK Fire in the Top 40 twice 😭
