Out in ninth place is the debut single from Jamaican-American singer Sean Kingston. The song was released in August 2007 and entered the chart at #2 behind Kanye West's 'Stronger' before climbing to the top spot the following week. It stayed at the summit for four weeks - preventing 'Ayo Technology' and 'Hey There Delilah' from becoming #1's - and eventually slipped to #4 the week 'About You Now' rose to #1. Despite the song's massive success, Sean was unable to recapture the magic in any of his later singles. Beside a pair of #9 hits, he never troubled the top 10 again. Thank God I say. :kink:

'Eternal Flame' has got to go this time! A really bland, uninspired cover. 'Beautiful Girls' was next in line for me though.

Don't dislike anything now so I'm going for what I prefer the least so I'm going for 'Bonkers'!

I must be one of the only ones that doesn't hate the EF cover. Of course The original Bangles version is superior though!

I’ve gone with Closer. I have issues with Ne Yo. I always knew when his songs would go to no.1 and I either hated them or just found them bland. Closer is the latter.

Going for Cascada now (the only one left that I don't like to some extent) but Atomic Kitten would be my next target after that. Quite a big jump in quality after those two are gone.

Beautiful Girls still lasted too long.

Eternal Flame definitely, turning one of the most powerful and moving love songs of all time into something utterly boring and devoid of personality is quite some achievement.
