I really watch to watch this again. Would be amazing if she did a re-release in a few months with this added as a DVD. All The Lovers made me very emotional.

Did sound mostly the album tracks played over the video or recorded and played over ? Very well done but it wasn't her singing live in most of it....

 

I loved it. Was like one big 50 min music video rather than a live concert.

 

Very good production.

I tried to re-watch it last night but it kept saying ‘This love stream has now ended’ :( Really hope it gets a release via some avenue in the future

Am sure in some form they will get some money back from it. After paying out for all the credits at the end I think the £16 was very fair price.

 

Hopefully an ITV showing in December or added to a new format of Disco to be released

Gosh it was superb, so creative and the new songs shone out.

 

It was better filmed and produced than many of her videos. When I tried to re watch it it would let me haha. The stream from the app to the TV was not the best but good enough.

 

She came across as really loving it all, it was like a surreal TV show performance in a cool club in another galaxy far far away.

Kylie like with golden seems really invested in disco and genuinly seems to be happy out performing the songs, I really missed this with kylie during kiss me once, kiss me once always felt like it was a chore for kylie.

Kylie has had so much more input in this album that it will always be special to her.

 

The way she recorded it will make it very memorable to her, I already feel Disco The Infinite edition is screaming for release.
I can't seem to find the merch she advertised before the stream yesterday on her official store...

Why should it be free? It’s a virtual streaming concert, which is in lieu of an arena concert. This is a new way for an artist (and everyone else involved in creating live shows) to make money. The ticket price contributes towards the costs of producing this concert (think of the lighting, the screens, costumes etc), as well as aiming to make a profit out of it (this is the music business). Part of the cost is also the exclusivity of getting to watch the concert at the specific times that it’s being streamed.

 

If anyone thinks it’s too much money, that’s fine, you’re not being forced into buying a ticket after all. It’s hardly disgusting though. £14 is a fraction of the cost it would usually cost to see Kylie - and of course that major reduction in price goes hand in hand with this being an altogether different experience to an in-person live show.

 

Back in the day, Sky would have a “Box Office” viewing experience - pay-to-view concerts on the TV. For instance Spice Girls in 1998 - it cost £9.95 (early booking) or £12.95 to watch the show.

I couldn't attend, but everyone I've spoken to that did, and also online reviews/forums have been nothing short of glowing! This era is so amazing...Shame the vaccine isn't out yet, else the tour announcement would've followed !
As much as it might piss off those that paid, how fabulous would it be if this were televised on ITV for that last push before sales close 2359 on thurs!!!
