Eliminated in Round 4 is the lead single to Ne-Yo's Year Of The Gentleman, the Stargate-produced 'Closer'. The song was released in May 2008 and took eight weeks to climb to its peak at #1 and in turn giving Ne-Yo his second UK chart topper after 2006's 'So Sick'. It was a great direction for him at the time imo after many slow R&B releases but I don't think it has aged particularly well.

Shame to see 'Closer' out, probably my favourite song that Ne-Yo ever released.

No qualms with that leaving. I love Ne-Yo's 4* other UK #1s but was never a big fan of Closer.

 

In contrast to the other poll I really want Beyoncé to leave in this one :lol: Crazy In Love that is (although Lose My Breath isn't anything special either).

Going for the Logical Song, not too bad just not one I feel overly strongly about.
