November 7, 20205 yr Sad for Kylie. She has no chance. Super great numbers for both, and LM album is great also. I wish one of them was outlast week instead. I wouldn't discount Kylie just yet... for Golden she doubled her album sales throughout the week she is obviously a strong continous seller she could easily achieve over 50k first week sales.
November 7, 20205 yr Kylie is outselling LM on Amazon, HMV and Itunes at the moment so she won't be that far behind on Monday I don't think. It's then up to BMG to be reactive to the data. Plus who knows what ratios are being used for the streaming in terms of free accounts and paid for accounts etc, don't they have different ratios? Edited November 7, 20205 yr by SmileyKylie
November 7, 20205 yr Plus who knows what ratios are being used for the streaming in terms of free accounts and paid for accounts etc, don't they have different ratios? I think streaming ratios for album chart are the same for free and premium streaming from what I know. At least I've never seen a mention of different ratios in the chart rules. It doesn't make much sense to me that for singles 1 premium stream equals 6 free streams meanwhile for albums they're worth the same but that's whole other subject for another discussion.
November 7, 20205 yr Great sales for both! Really dont mind who wins the race to number one- as long as they both sell well throughout the Christmas period. If they can both come close to 50k, I'll be very happy :D :D
November 7, 20205 yr I think it's all down to who's gonna do the craziest sales mid-week, by Wednesday they're all gonna be selling cassettes for 1 pound and albums for 5 or lower
November 7, 20205 yr BMG will have things up their sleeve but RCA probably too. If I was BMG I would do some more signed CDs tomorrow to keep up etc
November 7, 20205 yr I can totally see the Kylie fans here buying 1000 cassettes if that's what it takes :P
November 7, 20205 yr Little Mix over take Ariana on Apple Streaming. They must be doing huge numbers Kylie 5 and 21 on Apple streaming is good for her too but LM could have huge totals.

She did but that relied on Saturday shopping and physicals in general so don’t expect the same.

November 7, 20205 yr LM may go top of itunes and Amazon etc with the final of their show. Kylie may have sold some Cds with her Infinite Disco show tonight also

I just went back and LM5 was 27,745 on Saturday and 35,154 on Sunday - they seem to be streaming a little better this time though.
November 8, 20205 yr And with no shops open then streaming is going to be more important at the moment
November 8, 20205 yr And with no shops open then streaming is going to be more important at the moment Supermarkets are open. I was in Sainsbury’s yesterday and they were stocking Confetti and Disco.
