Agreed, even though the girl wasn't the artist, her lip syncing was a bit naff :( she went to the Jesy Nelson school of lipsyncing

 

I also didn't like how at the start they put Nathan's call over the song rather than just having the song's instrumental in the background and then resume the song? A weird choice.

Cute concept, I wasn't expecting anything amazing so I'm not too fussed.

it was a non-event. Nathan isn't that big and whilst the girls ARE big it's not exactly a video to write home about, the girl's haven't even tweeted about it I don't think? It may pick up later on but I don't see this doing really well.

It's been known for a while that the girls aren't in the video, so I doubt their fanbase care for the video... they have now tweeted about it, but I doubt that'll do much. I'll just put all my focus on streaming the song and buying it next week!

Mixers really need to have the same energy they did for Sweet Melody the other week for this tbh . Nathan was very supportive and helped them out quite a bit the other week !

I do love this track but it didnt help it got swallowed by Christmas and sweet melody still being huge,

I do feel a bit bad for Nathan. I suspect the reason the song was released in November (and around the same time as Sweet Melody/Confetti) was because of Jesy leaving and it would have been weird if they released a song with her vocals on it after she'd left the band, and similarly the other three girls couldn't do the video with Jesy's voice still being on it.

 

Maybe I'm wrong and this was always the plan but it's a shame he couldn't get the same support and promo from the girls and be in a simple video for him to help him out.

 

(Not suggesting it's the girls themselves obviously, it's probably a contract or label thing, but at the end of the day it's their song as well)
