I am surprised that DISCO has not connected with a wider audience - I adore this album and it served so much more - maybe the tour's do a lot more than we all know with promoting the longevity of an album - people going to see Kylie love being exposed to the material then go yeah I am going to get the album. I think COVID and the lack of promo shows for artists is really taking effect now - they are all vying for a slot on about 4 key shows - as much as I am not a fan of all the singing shows etc .... they do give platforms for music guests - I only watched the X factor on a Sunday for the guest performances.

Anyway I am proud of Kylie still producing great music into her 5th decade - along as she is happy and we are happy as fans that all that matters now

They just need to sort out the streaming ratios. There is no way all howe albums should be still top 100 albums because 3 or 4 songs are on big playlists.

I do think they need to look at the album ratios or otherwise albums currently on the chart for ages such as Abba, Queen, Elton John, Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, Oasis and a few others will never leave the chart. Im sure only a couple of songs from each are getting streamed and have very low actual sales and on the other hand you have albums actually selling about 1k and not charting at all. I would love to know actual sales for albums such as get to know by Becky hill and mabels high expectations in comparison to actual totals, i think Becky hill is on about 260k and Mabel 320k but have no clue of the breakdown of their actual sales.

Back to Kylie though, i would think like on many occasions her streams will be low for the album and the fact its just a reissue will mean even lower streaming points for her, hopefully she can do enough to stay top 15 but i do think based on her current sales thats very safe.

Disco Guest List Addition is selling in very respectable numbers.

I think there is a possibility of it remaining Top 10.

Still at 9 in the midweeks...ABBA regained top spot ahead of Taylor and Little Mix.

Great for Kylie, hopefully another 1k sales, I'm not surprised with abba back at number 1 as little mix and taylor would have been front loaded and it was only a couple of thousand between them. I hope kylie doesnt end up at 11.

I imagine the preorders also included the extended mixes which don’t count towards the Disco total and the bulk of which is only coming in December.

Yep. Extended mixes 10th Dec will be a totally new chart entry if she has sold enough vinyl and they haven't been dispatched yet.......

They could still have a plan to release a CD with the mixes on, but most likely just the vinyl, maybe download and streaming?

If they were included this week it could be the difference in her going top 10 or not, similar to the fever cassettes costing fever a top 20 return rather than a top 25 return, in the grand scheme of things it makes no difference but it shows how a couple of hundred sales can make a difference.

Oh those are nice margins to have!!!!

looking good for a top 10 then this week and around 10,500 sales

I think Silk Sonic at #10 will overtake as they sold over double Kylie yesterday, but #10 seems very safe.
9210 sold at #9, 1601 ahead of #10 and 3428 ahead of #11.

Very healthy sales - and hopefully will be able to hold on at #10

I think she has Top 10 in the bag, Bruno Mars may overtake her for number 9 but either way i think number 10 is looking at worst case scenario and maybe sales of 11k, anyone know how much the reissue of SBIT sold the week the expanded version was released?

6,640 copies

Not sure if this is true? I think they'd count towards Disco?

If they didn't... it would mean that Disco Extended Mixes vinyl had sold less than 326 copies by Monday (the amount needed to be #200 in the midweeks).

^^ I assumed they would count towards the original too as they are just extended versions rather than new songs?
