East Rulh, Holland-Oats, Hushky and TAROBell were done DIRTY and I thought Scherzland would do much better than that too :(

Can see why I DNQ'd looking at that semi result, I was holding out hope on points from the likes of Ramrynia, Bellamia, UVland and Hushkanukia there to scrape through and none of them went for it. Certainly it did attract a few unexpected fans though, which was nice. Too subtle/dated maybe - but still probably my favourite entry of the year.

Well done Cody, this was a fab entry from you and is possibly my favourite of that genre sent this year so it's not surprising in the slightest that it proved a rare kpop win!

 

Thanks to those who voted for Night Club (two songs for your troubles this month ;) ) a few people I probably was expecting points from didn't in the end but that's fine at least I made several commiserations of those who I knew would be fans. I'm pleased to get 4 15's though especially from Jonjo!!! Thank you so much. That has to be the most you've given me ever...and 31st I'll take because it's avoiding bottom 10 :D

Absolutely buzzing at my result, I honestly didn't think this song would have near the appeal of my last entry let alone go on to outperform it - it just makes me even more confused in retrospect as to how Boy Harsher did so badly as that's what this song most reminds me of, but I certainly won't complain that the voters paid less dust this time! Actually getting my 2nd highest points total ever, only 25 points behind 'Habib Galbi', never expected anything close to this for this entry *.* thank you very much all of the lovely voters and a super special extra thank you to Chez, Dan, Jade, Leww and Vülker for allowing me to match my record number of 18s for the first time since BJSC 61! And now I have another shot at an auto-qualifier - I have gone 2 for 3 so far on getting auto-qualifiers after coming 2nd, come through even number of participants again next month xx

 

Not much to complain about in these results, I voted for 7 of the top 11 (plus being there myself + Altyr being one of my few commiserations), so pulling out a pretty great result from a final that was a bit lacking for me compared to the usual standard! Happy enough with the results for Utopia and Singerpurear even though they showed early promise of doing even better (still a first top 5 in forever for the former and a rare top 10 for the latter, hoping Lucia may still have a shot at winning in PJSC on Friday where she is my current entry :magic:) and yay for Bøtanikkä, Fljótavík and Danæviia all going top 10 too! A bit of a shame that Jadakissnia, Numayania and Pupok all lined up just outside the top 20 though, glad ISON at least managed a top half scrape but I did have hopes of it being another top 10 for Jadakissnia, ah well! Not too bad a showing for Rolloland, and happy that Hushkanukia did pick up a bit as it's turned into a pretty big guilty pleasure for me - the K-Pop songs just about ending up ranking in the correct order for me! And finally... #justice4kathaldazia (but I am still kind of surprised they even qualified so at least they didn't come last I guess).

 

Coming 2nd behind Cor Lupus in the semi as well, makes sense! The semi results seem 'well behaved' this month, not really seeing any particularly significant over/underperformances (apart from maybe Lookylion, but they still did pretty well).

 

Thanks Jake for being a great host, and looking forward to rounding out the year in Cor Lupus I should hope! :cheer:

Congrats Cody! Not at all surprised to see LA DI DA as the winner, it's incredibly on-trend. It fell just short of my commiserations but clearly didn't need my points anyway. All three K-Pop entries in the final were great! Justice for LOONA in particular, oops at it ending up with even less than ITZY :snif:

 

Grant top 5 and Elley nearly top 10 were the highlights of the results for me, so happy to see those did well!

 

I'm honestly not at all disappointed at finishing second last because I was shocked to make the final anyway. Was nice to see some more Overcoats support come through in the second half, thanks to those responsible for that :wub:
