The Spice Girls album 'Forever' is out on vinyl on Friday 20th November, and the fans are very keen for it to re-enter the UK album chart next week.

A fan campaign has been launched to help us achieve that, including downloading and streaming the album.

It would be fun to see if we can collectively make an old album chart high up on iTunes. Can we make it happen? :o If you're interested, please download from midnight tonight (Fri 20th Nov, 00:01am GMT). :cheer: 'Forever' costs £3.99 - here's the link: iTunes

We're also hoping that the album can make the official download Top 100 chart. Usually it only takes about 50 sales to make it into that chart!

Here are all the purchase/streaming options:

Download

iTunes [£3.99]

Amazon [£4.99]

7 Digital [£4.99]

Streaming

Spotify

Apple Music

Amazon

YouTube Music

Deezer

Tidal

Vinyl

HMV

Amazon

The Sound of Vinyl

RecordStore

uDiscover

Thank you for reading!

I'm in, got the vinyl on pre-order. Will do my first and last ever album download on Amazon.

This album is very special to me due to personal circumstances when it came out.

Would love to see this back in the charts, as im in Ireland my streaming etc wont be of any help to it in the UK
I'll give it a few streams! I discovered a few good tracks on here after the listening party in the Spice Girls forum a few months back, definitely a better album than I anticipated.
I am IN!!! Bring on the next 7 days - it's gonna be a Forever Week
Good luck guys! I’m gonna keep streaming next week and ordered the vinyl.
Downloaded from Amazon and the vinyl is on order. Holler is better than most songs released in the last 10 years.

It’s made a start, in at #531. Hopefully it can get higher than that!

Edit: Up to #371 (2:45am)

this album ended their career, no need for a reminder of how bad it was...
only 1 vinyl version, they really missed a trick there

Out of interest, how long has it been since some of you have played Forever? Maybe listening to it afresh in 2020 would reveal it to not be as bad as you seem to recall it being! A Mandela effect :heehee:

I think the Spice Girls having a clear desire to go solo (plus some in-group tension) was more of a factor in their disbandment than the perceived quality of the album. Forever only had one single to promote it, and within a couple of weeks of its release they didn’t do any more promotion. Yet it still got to #2 and sold over a quarter of a million in a quick period of time. Who knows what could have been if they’d committed to a usual 4 single era? From my perspective, Spice Girls ended their own career by choice, not Forever.

Regardless of thoughts about the music, it would be fantastic if anyone here feels like downloading it just to see how far we can get an album up the iTunes chart! :cheer:

I am in. Fingers crossed it can go top 75 if nothing else

Great to see all this support

Another update: up to #281 on iTunes! Just a bit more of a push and hopefully it can make the Top 100.
