December 15, 20205 yr It's the perfect show for Brexit Britain so who can honestly say they're surprised? x Ireland is in the EU
December 16, 20205 yr It does get a lot of hatred, I don't really like it myself but can see what people enjoy about it. At least it isn't promoting body image issues like Love Island, which seems to be fawned upon with very little mainstream criticism. One silver lining of the pandemic was that getting cancelled, maybe they should bring it back with more normal looking people in future.
December 16, 20205 yr As if this year couldn't get worse. It’s just a TV show at the end of the day, you don’t have to watch it if you dislike it so much!

December 16, 20205 yr It’s just a TV show at the end of the day, you don’t have to watch it if you dislike it so much! It also means there’s little chance of the Christmas schedule getting a much needed revamp.
December 16, 20205 yr You say that, but I was forced to watch it last year with my family! Why were you forced to watch it? I’m normally wiped out by the time it’s on  It also means there’s little chance of the Christmas schedule getting a much needed revamp. That’s true I suppose. They should just put Seinfeld on instead :D
December 19, 20205 yr Why were you forced to watch it? I’m normally wiped out by the time it’s on  That’s true I suppose. They should just put Seinfeld on instead :D The first couple of seasons of the Christmas schedule are decent but they are a bit slow at times. The peak schedules are mid 90s to mid 2000s. The last couple of schedules are still great but they are very fast paced, slapstick and zany.

Tuesday at 17:302 days I have a soft spot for it because it's one of the last remaining big studio sitcoms on air anywhere in the world (aside from the UK/US anyway).I think in terms of the storylines and the big slapstick pieces, their best days are behind them. Part of my issue is that every episode they do now often feels like they try to cram in every character (especially when it's just the two specials) so it leaves the half-hour episode feeling quite disjointed.Surely the Daily Mail reading or Brexit/Reform-voting lot wouldn't be too fond of an Irish man dressing up as a woman?
