'Three Lions' went 1-97, that's the record by far (LadBaby's song from last year is the only other one that's dropped out of the top 40 from #1, going 1-57). Looks like 2 of the top 3 biggest drops from #1 of all time are about to come in back to back weeks

Wow what a chart update that is 😂! Hope the Xmas songs hold up as it’ll be interesting to hear a Christmas chart on New Years Day and even better see the rundown on MTV right up to 7th January lol.

Hope ‘Christmas’ remains as the top selling album, amazing such a huge album has only been number one for three weeks all together.

Would be a shame to see ‘Driving Home For Christmas’ falling back out of the top 10 as it’s more than likely to do by Friday - deserves a top 10 peak officially, might have to wait until next December.

As for further updates they are not guaranteed this week, Tuesdays could be the one and only. MW are on a Christmas break.

I doubt it.

You doubt what?

That Christmas songs will be still in the top 40 by Friday.

Do they not work from home anyway?

Doesn't look like it MW have still got last week's mids showing on their database.

What does MW stand for anyway?

it wont changed until Friday!people are still streaming xmas songs until this day

Why are people still streaming Christmas songs? Capital and Heart have stopped playing Christmas songs since Boxing Day.

Because it's still the Christmas season! For me I listen to them until NYD

For me, Christmas is over after Christmas Day.

Christmas songs still get some residual streams after Christmas Day but it becomes pretty negligible very quickly. As much as people love to point out that Christmas is 'technically' not over until 6th January it's pretty clear that most people stop listening to Christmas songs after the 25th (with I suppose a slightly better showing on the 26th/27th than usual this year due to it being the weekend, and lockdown etc.)

I make that 70 Christmas songs in the top 100 update, and that's not counting Griff/Becky Hill/Celeste/Liam Gallagher/Ladbaby, so no way are 40 other songs coming to overtake Mariah by Friday  It would be nice to think some Christmas songs could hold up enough to get new peaks, but I don't think that'll happen either (except maybe Snowman). I'd settle for The Pogues getting another week in the Top 10.

I don't see Little Mix improving on their #3 peak as I expect CJ and Ed will overtake next week, if not by Friday once the Spotify data catches up.

Music Week - a web site and a music newspaper.

I'll be listening to Christmas songs until Christmas is actually over on the 5th January!

Ah I see!

The main Xmas songs have been streamed so much on Xmas day and the resurgence of the old songs have been poor so many of them will still be there!

Which songs are at numbers 26, 31 and 40 in the Tuesday midweeks?
