  • Think it's now looking more likely it'll just be Mariah again - not really sure why but Wham! seem to be peaking around the 23rd-25th and then falling back behind her again.   I do prefer Mariah's so

  • Thanks for that. The Christmas songs will more or less stay in the same order between now and Friday as they won't do much more.   That basically means it's a battle between Mariah and Little Mix the

I'm hearing in the most recent update Wham! were 89 copies behind Mariah, is that true? :o

I've downloaded the Pudding Mix

I'm about to as well! Hope they hold on :cheer:

personally i m still listsening xmas songs until 3/1

also i would be happy if wham take it this week

mariah done it.its wham turn

So this chart will still be dominated by Christmas songs

It's a bit depressing I think that a Christmas song will still be #1 when the chart is revealed on January 1st.

I fail to see how it’s more depressing than a non Christmas songs getting there. Plus if Last Christmas does make it after waiting 36 years, that doesn’t seem depressing to me.

Wham! have been slowly eating away at Mariah's slender lead through the week, barring any irregularities with the 'estimated' SES for Thursday (we looking at you OCC!) they should against all expectations take the number 1.

Very odd week !

People snap out of that Christmas spirit like it was a drunken stupor...

Where’s your Christmas spirit gone? It’s still the festive season! :cheer:

My Christmas spirit is pretty dead but my 80s spirit never dies, so I just bought a copy of Wham! :D

A Wham number 1 would nice.

Like Mariah Carey, the song has waited too long to achieve Number 1 status.

Congrats to Mariah on being spared the record for biggest fall from #1

And still be number one until the 7th January

It’s all a fix once Wham have it the OCC will change the rules banning all old Xmas songs older than 3 years on the 4th Jan!

Hoping Kylie and Dua Lipa make it into the top 100 downloaded songs of the week with their 1 day old Real Groove Remix .
I'm hoping it's the chart of the year today instead because I'd rather listen to best songs of the year rather than Christmas songs.

It’s fascinating reading this thread considering I wasn’t a member of Buzzjack back then, and was following this from a completely different perspective.

And now everyone who supported it at the time hates the idea of it going to number 1 every single year how times have changed 🤣
