December 27, 20205 yr Is Blinding Lights still ahead of Ladbaby on pure sales? It was on 177,000 in October so it most certainly will be.
December 27, 20205 yr I say it every year now but what a dreadful representation of the year. Streaming has made these charts less enjoyable for me.
December 27, 20205 yr Definitely agree, it's just such an unexciting list. That said, Blinding Lights is my favourite EOY #1 in pretty much forever. edit - although I must admit that I do also like Rain On Me, Dance Monkey, both Harry tracks and of course both Dua tracks so that's a higher proportion than usual.

I hope the top 100 may have some surprises in terms of old hits. Is it likely Dreams by Fleetwood Mac might appear?
December 27, 20205 yr Streaming has made any list like this so stale as it skewers heavily towards songs released early in the year or even last year.
December 27, 20205 yr I hope the top 100 may have some surprises in terms of old hits. Is it likely Dreams by Fleetwood Mac might appear? It wasn't in the top 100 YTD chart last week. 'Mr Brightside' by The Killers was though, at number 62. Its sale (Mr Brightside) for the year is about 500k. Dreams will be way behind on sales for 2020 and is probably on about 380k. I'm guessing here but I'd say the cut off point for the top 100 of the year is probably around 390k. Edited December 27, 20205 yr by Robbie
