Will R9 be released in 2021?



Hey everyone, can you believe its been nearly FIVE YEARS since Rihanna's last album ANTI?!! We all know since ANTI, Rihanna has become a beauty and clothing mogul but will the star return to music this year? Here at the Rihanna forum, we want you to put your Mystic Meg hats on and predict if Rihanna's long awaited new album known by the Rihanna Navy as "R9" will be released this year (2021). R9 still has an air of mystery behind the project as very little is known about other that it is a reggae album (apparently).

So, make your predictions here, will R9 be released in 2021?

For the record, I think R9 will be released this year in the summer. That season seems like the right time to release a reggae album.

I honestly have no idea anymore, and I also don't want to get my hopes up anymore.

As sure as Adele will release a new album featuring Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi. :teresa:

She could have easily been on her 13th album by now. Instead she chose to semi-retire and give false hopes to her fans. :arrr:

she's never given any hope to fans tbh kinda the opposite

 

but I really think she will release sooner than later and do a folklore and release the album without any singles, without anyone knowing

I think it will come in 2022.

I’m going to be pessimistic and say no so as to not disappoint myself yet ANOTHER year

Didn't she close her Fenty fashion house? Maybe that's a sign she's focusing more on music?

 

I do think she'll release this year, perhaps a surprise release even.
