January 8, 20215 yr Author 'Anyone' is showing as moving up to the A-list, either that's a mistake on the website or there was a playlist last week which just wasn't published. But as we've got no way of knowing for sure I'm just going to assume it's new this week. Thought they might have added 'Treat You With Kindness' this week but I guess it's coming next week. I'm hoping they'll add things a bit quicker off the mark this year! Do we think they're still going to support Kings Of Leon for at least another era?
January 8, 20215 yr Loved that Rina track at first as I was so shocked at her change of direction but added to my playlist this week and already bored of it, she just sounds like a GAGA soundalike. Be yourself!! Sad to see Sam Fender and Celeste gone, lovely tracks. Wish 'Suckapunch' was moved up with the album out next Friday.
January 8, 20215 yr Very happy to see Eric Prydz and CJ on the A List and Louie Vega on the B List! Also pleased that The Kid Laroi and Rina have both been added - really enjoying both of those. Mango, from listening to R1 during the week, Anyone was getting B List rotation and ‘Lonely’ hasn’t been played since before Christmas so at a guess, on the Christmas Day playlist, Lonely got removed and Anyone got added in its place! And also, with Kings of Leon, it’s already been played by both Annie Mac and on their New Music Friday playlist this morning, suggesting that it probably will get supported! Yeah, I thought that might be the case. But unfortunately I don't think we'll ever know what last week's playlist looked like if it wasn't published and we can't guess a whole playlist so we'll just have to go with this! And yeah if the Derulo track keeps climbing then they'll probably B-list it for a few weeks.

I think Harry will probably be added next week and I’m pretty sure they’ll probably support Jason Derulo, especially with it looking like it’s probably going to be a hit. They supported Take You Dancing quite heavily when it was released I think.
January 8, 20215 yr Not to be a party pooper again but the Rina song, like Ava Max, seems to be repeatedly being hyped as a future hit on here and I'm not really seeing why, even less so in fact as Rina has never charted at all before. Having said that I was about to say something along the lines of 'and this time it's nowhere to be seen at all on Apple Music!' but was rather shocked to find it's actually slightly higher than Ava there (although still outside the top 200). Idk, I guess it might happen (watch both of these songs blow up now just to spite my prediction skills x) but it just reeks of wishful thinking at the moment. 'LUCID' is an ok song but I find the drop falls pretty flat. Also definitely feels like it has less personality than most of her songs (and I say this as someone who's kind of lukewarm on her discography in general, although I am a fan of 'Who's Gonna Save U Now?' and 'XS').

January 8, 20215 yr Really happy for Rina being added and for Biig Piig to be bumped up to the B list (after three weeks in the C list I had given up hope). There's not too much new music out at the moment, with the big hitters such as Ed and Justin already being added. I can see Harry, Route 94 + L Devine, Fontaines DC (You Said), SZA, Slowthai and possibly Working Men's Club (John Cooper Clarke) all being added in the coming weeks.

January 8, 20215 yr Is it Alice maybe? There is no confirmation of a new Gaga single as of yet. Rumours are pointing at Sour Candy getting a music video but it may just be a music video and not a song that is sent to radio (much like 911).
January 8, 20215 yr Pleased to see Ariana being added this week! I'm a fan of Rina in general, so happy for her in that sense, but can't warm to 'LUCID' sadly.
January 8, 20215 yr Wait how are they only just adding 34+35 to the C-list? :lol: They only dropped 'positions' last week - I guess they could have jointly playlisted them for a few weeks but I'm not surprised they just waited until the new year instead!
