Wellerman at #2 and the remix credited. What happened to not crediting remixes OCC?

the version charting high on Apple and Spotify has all 3 of them credited as "artist" in addition to 220 Kid and Billen Ted being remixers

Nathan Evans, 220 KID & Billen Ted - Wellerman (Sea Shanty / 220 KID x Billen Ted Remix)

That went out of the window when they added Travis Scott to the Goosebumps credit

The Official Charts Company Midweek Sales Flash is in, and Bicep are in a close race with Bring Me The Horizon at the top of the albums chart.

Bicep’s second record Isles (8,546 sales) begins the frame in top spot, ahead of Bring Me The Horizon’s Post Human – Survival Horror (8,443 sales), which is boosted by a physical release. A huge majority of 8,131 of BMTH’s sales are from physical, while Bicep have sold 5,512 physical units and have 1,747 sales from streams. Sunday’s streaming data is yet to be counted.

Barry Gibb’s Greenfields – Gibb Brothers Songbook 1 is at No.3 with 2,610 sales, Neil Diamond’s All-Time Greatest Hits (1,631 sales) shoots 77-4 and Pop Smoke’s Aim For The Stars Shoot For The Moon (1,616 sales) is at No.5.

In the singles chart, Olivia Rodrigo has moved 29,676 copies of Drivers License, which still has a firm grip on top spot. Its closest challenger is viral sea shanty Wellerman (10,349 sales), by Nathan Evans, 220 Kid and Billen Ted. The Kid Laroi’s Without You (9,412 sales), Anne-Marie, KSI & Digital Farm Animals’ Don’t Play (9,319 sales) and Meduza’s Dermot Kennedy collab Paradise (8,901 sales) complete the Top 5.

That's way more than I was expecting for Bicep! :o

Maybe they do have a chance to hold on after all then

Never attempt to gleam any logic from the way the OCC credit things, it can always go either way xx

Excellent to see Bicep (hopefully) on course for the #1 album, I can't see Barry Gibb catching them (he'd probably need to somehow increase his sales from last week) and I assume Bring Me The Horizon will be more frontloaded given this is just the late physical release sales dump.

#26 for Billie & ROSALÍA. Hmmm. x I really have a horrible feeling this is going to end up being a second #41 for ROSALÍA :drama:

Fantastic to see Wardruna as high as #10 also! Obviously it'll drop over the week but should be good for a top 40 at least hopefully? Big for them when they've never previously made the top 100.

Sabrina Carpenter looking at her first top 40 here! :cheer:

Good to see Friday top 40. :D

Numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the singles chart are so close. They could end up any way possible on Friday.

Incredible for Bicep to be on 8.5K already, it should be on the bag for them hopefully :D

Not too bad a start for Rosalia & Billie, only hope they don't end up at #41 like TKN did

Heat Waves is just outside the top 40 so hopefully it can sneak it before Friday...

I hope Riton and RAYE can stay in the top 40 and I wasn’t expecting Wellerman to climb since yesterday. I’ll be shocked if he gets #1

That really is a battle for the top 2! :o

I genuinely can't call it, although my gut instinct tells me BMTH may have more sustainability during the week and clinch it?

That went out of the window when they added Travis Scott to the Goosebumps credit

Interestingly I’ve noticed they’ve taken him off again

You Me At Six coming to be the third #1 album to drop out of the top 40 in the span of a few months, kind of expected but disappointing nonetheless. Hopefully they will at least remain clear of The Vamps' 1-72 drop (#57 today).

Rather shockingly though they are actually lower than Sleaford Mods today...!
