March 29, 20214 yr Nothing bad to say about those three either, all great. The first two got points from me and I still love Wrecking Ball, I just think it's not as good as some of Miley's more recent output.
March 30, 20214 yr Author NO 70- 99 POINTS- Timber Pitbull Featuring Ke$ha (Voters: Alby- 20 points, Ultra’s version- 7 points, Leonardo- 23 points, Campbell- 18 points, Jason- 7 points, Chrissmith276- 24 points) No 1 for 1 week in January 2014- Pitbull has one left in the rate but it’s the end of the rate for Ke$ha. hHUbLv4ThOo
March 30, 20214 yr Author NO 69- 100 POINTS- f*** You Cee-Lo Green (Voters: SevenSeize- 11 points, Campbell- 16 points, Bjork- 17 points, Gezza- 18 points, Chrissmith276- 5 points, Rabbitfurcoat- 24 points, *Dandy- 9 points) No 1 for 2 weeks in October 2010- Another slice of prime early decade pop gets cut. pc0mxOXbWIU
March 30, 20214 yr Ooh another big pointer dropping out for me with Olly. My favourite #1 of his by far <3 although 'Dear Darlin' is still his best for me overall. 'Timber' is another that was a #1 in my chart at the time but hasn't aged brilliantly. Definitely takes me back to being at a NYE 2013 house party! So yeah that didn't quite make my votes, neither 'Wrecking Ball' or 'Sweet Nothing', but both of those are solid.
March 30, 20214 yr Author NO 68- 100 POINTS- Don't Be So Hard On Yourself Jess Glynne (Voters: Alby- 28 points, Bre- 10 points, JulianT- 8 points, AH Gold- 13 points, Sid- 11 points, Jimwatts- 2 points, Riser- 28 points) No 1 for 1 week in August 2015- She’s got two features left in the rate but this is her best performing solo chart topper on Buzzjack. March 30, 20214 yr Timber is my favourite of those three, really liked it at the time but don't go back to it that often, the other two I just found a bit annoying after a while
March 30, 20214 yr I wouldn't have predicted DBSHOY to have got 100 points, but I'm happy to have helped make that happen (albeit in a very small part), it's her best solo song by some distance.
March 30, 20214 yr I never really "got" 'Don't Be So Hard on Yourself', it's so utterly generic and bland. I think 'Hold My Hand' is unquestionably a better song, except just ruined with overplay and that Jet2 advert.
March 30, 20214 yr Personally find those three a real downgrade on the last couple of updates! The first two are alright but just bang average and the Jess Glynne is just an annoyance.
March 30, 20214 yr Ah I've just lost quite a few songs there. Surprised I didn't give points to Love Me Again though - maybe an oversight on my part!
March 31, 20214 yr Author NO 67- 102 POINTS- Rockstar Post Malone Featuring 21 Savage (Voters: Bre- 26 points, Dot Branning- 9 points, Dircadirca- 8 points, Jackjones- 17 points, coi- 5 points, Marcinjaro- 14 points, Jade- 20 points, Scene- 3 points) No 1 for 4 weeks in October/November 2017- 2017 down to just 5 entries left with this leaving. March 31, 20214 yr Author NO 66- 103 POINTS- Black Magic Little Mix (Voters: Ultra’s Version- 21 points, Campbell- 13 points, n4yr- 9 points, Donnahjaneymack- 14 points, AaronTM- 22 points, Gezza- 6 points, Vibe- 6 points, Rabbitfurcoat- 12 points) No 1 for 3 weeks in July/August 2015- Buzzjack’s favourite Little Mix chart topper- it’s official. MkElfR_NPBI
March 31, 20214 yr Very impressive result for rockstar, I'm surprised it had as many as eight voters!
March 31, 20214 yr Author NO 65- 104 POINTS- Feels Calvin Harris Featuring Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry & Big Sean (Voters: Alby- 16 points, Sevenseize- 18 points, Jimwatts- 3 points, donnahjaneymack- 11 points, Garyfeld- 24 points, NickF1- 11 points, Ready for it- 21 points) No 1 for 1 week in August 2017- End of the rate for Katy Perry but Calvin and Pharrell both have two left. ozv4q2ov3Mk
March 31, 20214 yr 'rockstar' <3 that song reminds me of doing work experience at Your Cat magazine and being perplexed that it had blown up so much during that week  but it grew on me really quickly and nowadays I consistently enjoy Posty's output. I generally like Little Mix but could never get into 'Black Magic', very plain. 'Feels' is quite good but not enough of a favourite to make my votes. Definitely best listened to while on holiday in a hot country.
March 31, 20214 yr 'Black Magic' is decent enough but does sound pretty dated already, I'm surprised it ended up this high. 'Feels' is still a fun listen. I don't really have anything good or bad to say about 'Rockstar'.
March 31, 20214 yr 'Black Magic' has been such an essential part of many nights out that it's only grown in my affections since its release. Edited March 31, 20214 yr by Tawdry Hepburn
