What do y’all make of this? Think it’s good News myself. BBC Three didn’t deserve to be shunted to iPlayer and it has continued to make some excellent programming that deserves a wide an audience as is possible

I didn't think it should have been moved online either and I know a lot of people thought the same. I'm not sure if it'll get the people who view the channel online back to watching TV but I agree that it might be a good way of introducing people who do still watch TV to its contents.

We'll be able to see how the shows perform in the ratings on a regular basis now it's coming back to TV too. For some reason BARB don't share ratings for programmes that are only viewed online.

Yes! Hopefully Doctor Who Confidential can return (or Torchwood perhaps...)

Or EastEnders Revealed! (never gonna happen but I did love to see the behind-the-scenes stuff).

To quote myself when this was rumoured:

“ Great stuff, it will keep the riff-raff away from BBC4.”

Ah! Just seen you tweet this to Bothers Bar  (a great site)

Kinda feels like too little too late as I don't know anyone my age who pays for a tv licence anyway. £150 a year just for a few tv channels is a pretty rough deal. But at least this is good outreach.

The licence also covers radio and the BBC iPlayer (you can’t use the latter without it).

Good news. I think with documentaries, comedy and Drag Race, they won't need to revisit the kind of lowbrow shows that were the source of some of the original media criticism of BBC Three.

Finally they've seen sense :')

It wouldn't surprise me if BBC Four ends up closing in the near future, it's littered with repeats, imports and archive material now that could probably fit in on BBC Two outside of primetime hours.

Will they move the Eurovision semis back to BBC Three even if there is still a BBC Four?

I think £150 is a great price and value for the service the BBC provides.

You mean slavishly supporting the government, defending the establishment at every turn, and fawning over the royals? :') It wasn't so long ago it banned the song God Save The Queen and cried about it...

BBC3 has lost its main cartoons now. ITV SNAPPED them up, and made ITV2 the new BBC3.

I don’t agree with those points but the best programmes and most educational and well made shows are on the Beeb in comparison to the shite on itv with its ads every 10 minutes!

A fairly uninspiring schedule apart from Drag Race, would've been nice if there were more originals planned and not quite as many repeats!
Pfft. BBtory ruined the channel by getting rid of it. It no longer has Family Guy or American Dad, so its figures will be through the floor.
