March 4, 20214 yr someone please help me - where am i going wrong with bimini? i just don’t see what everyone is seeing  she won wearing a blazer + a cut off polo neck sweater tonight?! if any other queen wore that wig they’d be dragged for filth. She won due to a sickening comedy performance, oozing charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent and a runway outfit which was funny and a different concept to everyone else. She’s on another level to the rest of the queens at the moment

The wig was so cute and the comcept behind her outfit was SO stellar she also just comes across as so above all the petty drama and seems like the sweetest person! Seeing her become more celebrated than most of the US girls has been a DELIGHT

Seeing her become more celebrated than most of the US girls has been a DELIGHT So this Her reaction to the order was amazing! ‘I’ll smash it no matter where I am’ Yes Queen!!!
March 4, 20214 yr So this Her reaction to the order was amazing! ‘I’ll smash it no matter where I am’ Yes Queen!!! Yes!!! Tayce had the same attitude- no excuses- just a happy energy throughout!
March 4, 20214 yr Yeah I love Bimini's personality, so infectious and positive, really refreshing. Her outfits have at least been creative and there is just a certain professionalism to what she does imo! I think her not stooping to be nasty to other queens or direct shade at them to get airtime is really refreshing as well. I really don't buy the whole editing thing A'Whora is selling on Twitter right now, it seems like an excuse and you still said what you said, I always hate it when people on Reality TV say that and criticise the public for critiquing and having an opinion of what they're seeing.
March 4, 20214 yr Tonight was the first night that it all properly clicked with Bimini. While everyone was else was popping off at Ellie, they quietly got on, did their thing, trusted they'd be fantastic wherever they were placed, and then duly delivered. As someone else said, "professional". They haven't relied on any sob stories, when pressed on the "non-binary" identification, they used it to be educational. They're just unapologetically who they are, with full confidence and amongst all the chaos tonight, Bimini being simply... fantastic really stood out. I agree that I wasn't wow'd by the outfit but I'm definitely joining the love train for them tonight on the whole. The challenge look was GORGEOUS.
March 5, 20214 yr Lawrence was such a brat this week! She clearly just wanted to have thw most wins. Think she was my least fave this week & also what was with the judges going gaga for her just a bodysuit runway??? Don't think A'Whora deserved B2 either. Shock horror a UK drag queen being crude. Just shows how easily shocked Michelle & Ru are for all they talk a good game. I love everything about Bimini & imma pitch a fit if she doesn't win the whole thing.
March 5, 20214 yr The focus on the stand up order is odd since this whole situation happens more often than not on Drag Race. Lawrence being upset that he was put after Bimini because obviously Bimini slayed it, but who could've guessed that? Lawrence is supposed to be the comedy queen after all.
March 5, 20214 yr I've got a sinking feeling that we will be having an A'whora / Tayce lipsync soon. Omfg I did that I guess :’)
March 5, 20214 yr Wow what a way for A’Whora to go from hero to zero I was disgusted with the way A’Whora and Lawrence treated Ellie - especially Lawrence She won the challenge she assigned the spots, bloody deal with it. If A’Whora spent more time working on a better act and less time moaning about Ellie she could have saved herself. I am slightly surprised Tayce was kept over A’Whora - although how Lawrence was reviewed well again after she went missing in her act, I just can’t....... To me it should have been a Lawrence/A’Whora bottom 2 Bimini was the right winner and there was no one close really. I feel for Ellie but she has serious All Star vibes. Love though that she’s the only one left who hasn’t have to lip sync (despite being the only one without a win!)
March 5, 20214 yr To add to what other people have said about Bimini - I am totally for her winning now (my fave is Tayce but that ain’t gonna happen!) I love when Bimini referenced her place in bottom 2 week one, to highlight just how far she has come.
March 5, 20214 yr Add me to the list of people really disappointed in Lawrence and A'Whora's attitudes in this episode. It left a sour taste in my mouth during what was otherwise a solid episode. I couldn't argue with A'Whora's elimination even if track record proves she's better than that, her set was very one note. Lawrence had a better set for me and most of the jokes landed, but it was just too long-winded. Bimini was by FAR the best and I'm so glad they won, not to mention how well they came across simply by not getting involved in the drama.

It wasn't just a blazer though — it had a realised and unexpected concept that was fully executed with confidence. I also wouldn't be surprised to see more nineties mullets walking down the runway in the future. View this post on Instagram
March 5, 20214 yr Dare I say it, I actually went off Lawrence a bit this episode because of how he acted towards Ellie :// he just had this arrogance and sense of entitlement just because they're friends he expected Ellie to disregard him as competition, it's getting too close to the end to be relying on allyship, it's everu Queen for themselves at this point so I don't think anyone should be mad at Ellie for being strategic as they all probably would do the same in her position whether they admit it or not. I think Lawrence was just worrying about her own performance so needed an excuse for why she did do poorly but the weak points in her routine didn't come bc we were comparing her to Bimini, it was things of her own doing. I don't think she was the worst and think she was right to be saved but Bimini was definitely streaks ahead of everyone. I'd actually have put awhora vs ellie in the bottom, I thought that's what they were setting us up for with the whole lineup feud going throughout the episode, I was disappointed tayce wasn't safe. I'm gutted to lose awhora this week too as I think it was Ellie's time to go. Imagine what awhora could have done with next week's challenge, she's shown acting is pretty up her Street too :( It was always gonna come down to an awhora vs tayce lipsync at some point, I just thought it would be next week
March 5, 20214 yr Lawrence has deactivated their Twitter account after the episode last night — again, for some reason, fans don't know how to not tag queens directly with their angry thoughts. Death threats and body-shaming because of a TV show — deranged. Edited March 5, 20214 yr by blacksquare
March 5, 20214 yr I really don't agree with @ing queens, body shaming or being horrid and personal. BUT I do think fans should be able to fairly critique what they see on a show they feel passionate about openly without being shamed for it or being made to feel like they're an awful person, not everything can always be positive!
March 5, 20214 yr Was that all A'Whora said? I thought she was dropping c-bombs. That could've easily been broadcast!
March 5, 20214 yr I’m super sad as I thought A’Whora was actually pretty funny, and surely if she was being too vulgar it should’ve been picked up by Alan to change it? Nevertheless I think she was funnier than Lawrence and Ellie so I’m quite sad that she went on this challenge. Regarding the whole Ellie thing, I don’t think she deserved hate for the placings however I agreed with Lawrence that asking if they were okay with it afterwards was a bit of a kick in the teeth when she wasn’t going to change it.

I do agree, but it too often ends up with queens getting unwarranted and targeted abuse rather than fair critiques. We are all being critical of queens in this thread, which is completely fine and valid, but I wouldn't go and directly call Lawrence pathetic over his reaction to the running order — it's just unnecessary. And queens get far worse than that. Edited March 5, 20214 yr by blacksquare
