Justice for Peace! Glad to see it somewhat high up, even if it is placed last from folklore.

Some of you really did Paper Rings dirty, it's so carefree and uplifting *_* I also agree that Gorgeous is underrated. I have seen a lot of hate for that track but I honestly like it, it's cute.

HINTS FOR 116 to 120:

Is time finally up for folklore or evermore :o Which album will be the last one to lose a song :o

Zero singles this time round... doesn't mean we don't have a moment for songs with videos though and THREE songs which share something in common!

Time was up for both of them, and the use of time was a hint towards it's time to go

the ellipsis after round was for come back... be here x

a moment for songs = the moment I knew

with videos = the best day

three songs share something in common = bonus tracks (the 2 red ones + ITTG)

I'd imagine either peace or closure will be the first song to leave from folklore/evermore.

yeah I was convinced closure would be the first evermore song to go before I totalled up the rate  def one of the biggest shocks so far!

and yep you got it with peace tho *.* Love how both of them lost their first song back-to-back in a tie!!

HINTS FOR 111 to 115:

this is another super section of 5 era's being represented in it!

One (flop) single that appeared on an album, so no non-album singles out this round again! (tho tbf there is like 3 left at this point :kink:)

In 116-120 we had 4 era's (Fearless, evermore, folklore, red). I can reveal from 111-120, we have 7 of the albums losing songs. Which will be the only 2 era's to not lose a song between 111-120?! Tell me what they are :o

Imma guess 1989 and Lover  but if Speak Now can be spared that'd be great!
#115-#111:

115. I wish you would [Avg. 7.30]
114. Tell Me Why [Avg. 7.33 (less 10s)]
113. Superman [Avg. 7.33 (more 10s)]
112. Begin Again [Avg. 7.35]
111. Dress [Avg. 7.38]

In this section, 1989 loses its second song while Speak Now, Fearless, Red and Reputation all say goodbye to another track too.

Kicking us off at 115 is I wish You Would from 1989. I think this song is okay but I’m surprised it is the second song leaving 1989 when I feel there are a few other songs which could have left before this one. According to Taylor, this song is not autobiographical but rather it is a fictional story about two exes, post break-up, secretly pining for each other. It received a mixed bag of scores, ranging from a 9 (DionTheSats123, Jktoon, John-James, MrAndrewMan) to a 4 (Ho-Lee Smokes). It also received a few 5s and 5.5s.

Tell Me Why is the next song to depart from Fearless, at number 114. Taylor co-wrote the song with Liz Rose and said that this song was inspired by her frustrations at a boy: “I walked into Liz’s house and I said ‘I can’t believe what’s going on right now, I’ve gotta tell you about this.’ I told her all about it. She goes, 'If you could say everything you were thinking to him right now, what would you start with?'" Swift began venting: "I would say to him, 'I'm sick and tired of your attitude, I feel like I don't even know you' ... and I just started rambling, and she was writing down everything that I was saying, and so, we turned it into a song." Personally I think this song is okay but I’m not sorry it didn’t reach the top 100. The song generally received mostly 7s and 8s. Its lowest score was a couple of 5s from Cremey and Ho-Lee Smokes and one 9 from Jktoon which was its highest score.

At 113 is Superman from Speak Now, released as one of the bonus tracks on the deluxe edition. I love this song just as much as Ours. Speak Now era definitely saved some great songs for the bonus tracks. It received a number of high scores, including 10s from John-James and Ultra and four 9s / 9.5s but it also received some pretty low scores, the lowest being a 2 from Ho-Lee Smokes.

Begin Again from Red is at number 112. This was the second official single release from the album. Commercially it performed well enough, with a top 10 showing in the US and reaching top 30 in the UK. It was also nominated for a Grammy Award for best country song. Honestly though, I actually find it difficult to understand why this was chosen to be the second single from an album full of much stronger tracks. For me, the song never really gets going although I do quite like the video and her voice is really beautiful. There’s someone who definitely doesn’t agree with me on this. Someone who has given it the highest of scores. Yup, it received the first 11 for this ultimate rate… and that 11 has come from….. Jktoon! WOOHOO!! This is officially the lowest song to be awarded an 11! It was also given two 10s from John-James and DionTheSats123.

And finally, at 111 is Dress from Reputation. This song is a bop! It is such a different feel for Taylor, kinda giving me Britney vibes idk. It received a 9.5 (Among Haus) and a few 9s (Blacksquare, Cremey, Ready For it). Unfortunately, it also received a 0 from Ho-Lee Smokes - ouch! It’s next lowest score was a 6! This song should have made the top 100 for sure.
Shame to see 'I Wish You Would' not quite cracking the top 100! I think I'm going to be sad about every 1989 elimination  what an era

Yup, well 1989 is holding up pretty well so far !

here's some quick clues cos I'm v. busy atm xx Will reply and analyse the previous clue reveals later!!

101-105 clues:

A single goes out and that album bleeds in this section by also losing an album track

That previous single going out is just the start as we lose another single this round

It's time for a celebration :cheer:

These clues are the truth.

Surely 'The Last Time' will be out soon. Maybe that's the single you're talking about?

Begin Again :(

This rate has definitely revealed how UNDERRATED some of Taylor's classics are. Can't believe the amount of "The Last Time" slander!

#110-#106:

110. The Last Time [Avg. 7.38 (more 11s)]
109. Tim McGraw [Avg. 7.39]
108. New Year's Day [Avg. 7.40]
107. hoax [Avg. 7.42]
106. Treacherous [Avg. 7.43]

First out is the seventh and final single from Red that features Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol. "The Last Time tells the story of a long-standing but crumbling relationship. Lyrically, the song describes the relationship as one with vicious cycles of both heartbreak and forgiveness." It received a generous score of 11 (jtkoon), a 10 (Tafty), several 9s and 5s. On the lower end, a 3 (Ho-Lee Smokes).

Next is the lead single from Taylor's debut album. "Taylor wrote "Tim McGraw" during her freshman year of high school, knowing that she and her senior boyfriend would break up at the end of the year when he left for college. The song was written about all the different things that would remind the subject of Taylor and their time spent together once he departed." Its highest score is a 9 (London). Several 8s were given. Nothing lower than a 6 was given (Cremey, Jade, me).

An album track from reputation goes out at 108. New Year's Day was released to country radio as a single. "The lyrics find Taylor singing about sharing her innermost vulnerability with her lover, who together clean up their shared house and care for each other the morning after a New Year's Eve party." It received a high score of 10 (London), a lot of 7s, a low score of 4 (Ho-Lee Smokes).

One of my favorites from folklore that I consider underrated goes out at 107. It is sadly the second track from folklore to drop out of the rate. "hoax narrates the struggles Taylor endures in a toxic relationship. Although she has been driven to the edge of hopelessness by her lover, Taylor is unable to let go of her doomed relationship." It received two 11s (me, jtkoon), a 10 (John-James), some 9s (blacksquare, Cremey). Lowest score is a 5 (Among Haus, Doug, Jade).

Last out is an album track from Red. "That song (Treacherous) was about a person that I knew, from the minute I saw him, that it would end in fiery, burning wreckage." It received a high rating of 10 (Cremey, Ultra's Version), a 9.5 (London), and a 9 (blacksquare, Qween). On the lower end, some 5s (Among Haus, DionTheSats123) and a 4 (Ho-Lee Smokes).

Ah Tim McGraw, New Year’s Day & Treacherous  I only experienced the first a few months ago on this forum and loved it - it came as quite a surprise to me that I liked country music - who knew

And New Year’s Day has always been one of my favs from Reputation and Treacherous one of my favs from Red.

I think Hoax has gone out to soon although it is about my 10th fav on the album so not too sorry. It’s just such a strong album!

Defo not sorry to see The Last Time go.

hoax and Treacherous ❤️

Treacherous would’ve been my next choice for an 11, sad to see it fell short of the top 100 💔

'The Last Time' and 'Treacherous' are definitely my favourites from that section! This is making me realise how much I enjoy the 'Red' era on the whole
