Welcome Buzzjack to Round 8 of Lady Gaga's least fave singles poll & after a very close & tense 3-way battle (which almost resulted in a flash poll), thankfully it didn't as at the last minute Applause edged out in front with just 6 votes which now leaves only 1 song left from the Artpop album left in this competition. Just like in previous polls, this yet again bows out relatively early. Coming off the back of the successful 'BTW' era fans were clamouring for new Gaga material & we get this & well..... it's not terrible by any means, but not quite the bombastic return we all hoped due to its very unrelatable feel & despite some uplifting choruses, this feels rather empty, hell even Gaga herself wasn't all that keen on this, as she wanted 'Aura' to be the album's lead single, but was shot down by the label for something more safe & commercial. Plus being overshadowed at the time of its release by Katy Perry's 'Roar' probably didn't help matters, despite this being a very successful hit in its own right.


11 other songs got votes with both 'LoveGame' & 'Judas' being apart of the 3-way tie, with 5 votes each. 'Stupid Love' wasn't far behind with 4 votes, then 'Born This Way', 'Do What U Want', 'Million Reasons' & 'I'll Never Love Again' each gaining 2 votes each. Finally 'Just Dance', 'Telephone', 'The Edge of Glory' & 'The Cure' each gets a single vote each.




Right then guys we're changing things up a little bit for this next round by having a DOUBLE ELIMINATION, which means you get to pick 2 of your least fave Gaga songs from the pool above & the 2 with the most will get booted out by the next round, which will be in about 4/5 days.

Oh, I didn't realise it was 2 songs either, but my other one would proooobably be for Always Remember Us This Way which is in no danger anyway.
