Ultimate collection going number 1 was great and its almost platinum aswell which is really good when gold sold so big. Tears on the dancefloor done very well for them and I liked how they really put in the effort to push the album. I hope they do the same again when the new album is released.

It did go platinum was certified with sales of 300,000 a month or two ago :yahoo:

Really happy with it been officially platinum now  should keep picking up sales here and there for a long time especially when they are back with the new album and touring again. Really wish Step One had gone number 1 for them as it was so successful but I'm happy they managed 3 other number 1 albums.

^ This compilation album has been removed from download/streaming!

That’s annoying really. I liked that compilation as it had a good mix of songs. I actually still have it on CD but I mainly use Spotify for streaming really.

I think that what you say about the “Popular” song section showing the original albums artwork is good though as that’s what the songs are known from initially.

In the rejig, they should have put Dancing Queen back on The Ultimate Collection on Spotify. Currently there’s just a live version. At this point I’m preferred to buy it on iTunes but it’s not there either

Yeah Step One certainly deserves the honour of #1 for sure. They are of the very few British bands to achieve a #1 album in 3 different decades though which is quite a feat  would love it so much if they managed to snatch #1 with this next release and achieve it in 4 different decades

I’m slightly surprised it has reached platinum. I thought it had sold just over 100k prior to the reissue which didn’t do much!

The Ultimate Collection is platinum, not Tears on the Dancefloor!

It's a travesty Tears on the dancefloor isn't platinum (10x) tbh

I would have loved higher sales for TOTD but getting over 100k is a brill result for them which will hopefully creep up towards 150k in time.

Oh yeah definitely a brilliant result for the time it was released, not many albums were selling in huge amounts 100k was a strong seller!

They had some big selling albums and pop acts were often the opposite big single sales and much lower album sales.

A little error here regarding "Thank ABBA for the Music" , its certified Silver, pretty sure it sold around 240,000, not entirely sure the amount, but it has sold over 200,000.

Here And Now honestly deserves to switch places with Tragedy.

What a song!

Also their VERY BEST SONG (ITWYMMF) is ridiculously low. WTF. One of their signature hits!

Amen to that! Here and Now is easily my favourite single by them and deserved so much more.
