REALiTi smashing into the top 5? *.* It's been said many times but an AMAZING hosting job Jafet! it was way beyond anything I could imagine doing
April 29, 20214 yr The majority of my higher points in the final came from people who were in semi 2 so no surprise to see it was a real squeaker to qualify - honestly I had half a mind to think it might have scraped through from TheSnake voting for it because of it being a song about a mountain, that seems like the kind of thing he'd do :lol: (but alas not x). At the end of the day though semi 1 came through enough for me to see the final and that's all that really matters, very happy to finish as high as 25th this month after originally sending the song with nearly no idea of who if anyone would be its audience (certainly a much better result than some of my previous punts on hip-hop entries). I have a song lined up for next month already which I have slightly higher expectations for so no more underdoggery x Thanks very much once again for a wonderful hosting this month Jafet <3 things like this make me really happy about the rules on the ~line of succession~ for hosting being changed - as silly as it may seem on the surface for the person who came 11th getting to host the next contest, if that weren't the rule then who knows how long we may have had to wait to have a Mosquetania hosted contest? It's always great to see new people getting the chance to host even if it is under those farfetched circumstances. (And now I am here for Mosquetania to eventually get a win so this won't be the only time xx)

April 29, 20214 yr Congrats, Jake! It actually was a shock winner for me, but that's probably more because my radar's always way off. Poor brave D'yermak'er with another 2nd place but still a great result for them. I'm super happy that Hushkanukia, KlumRep and Rolloland all made the top 10, and with Jadakissnia top 15. Glad to see Lissie mid-table, that's enough to avenge her DNQ from when she represented Harmonica. Not too disappointed in these results other than Numayania finishing so low </3 I hardly need to say it but the hosting was outstanding, loved the graphics and the format (just wish I wasn't in the jury :lol:) and how you casually had spare time to make postcards and revamp everybody's flag AND the entire BJSC map :cheeseblock: Bravo!
