"Save Your Tears" getting a new peak and "Anywhere Away From Here" top 10! I hope the latter is locked in, but I have a feeling it could be close. I hope it doesn't end up being #11 come the chart. :(

Any sign of Jessie Ware at all in the albums? I do hope we see her re-entering the top 100. It'd be nice for it to get a bit more buzz before the deluxe releases in June.

I'd say it's doing fairly well, but that's probably because I don't consider the song 'chart friendly' at all  the album is still months away so there might be a more pop-appealing single later on

Agreed. Done extraordinarily well for the type of song it is. Yep she may well have another 'Bad Guy' or 'Therefore I am' the week before the album drops

I would assume that any significant boost from the BRITs won't be appearing in the mids due to the lag in streaming data?
I know although think pop and hip hop quality is generally fine dance is lazy. But will shut up about it for a while. Who knows Marea may get its rewards soon.

Yes I agree with you, it seems to have been for years that most dance and indie that has made the chart has been on the poppy side and for dance only of one or two different styles of house that seem to be popular eg. the Joel Corry sort of production. Hip hop and pop do seem more vibrant at the moment in terms of having different production styles.

There's more than enough interesting indie/particularly post-punk stuff doing well at the moment to cover that side though - when you have the likes of Fontaines DC playing the same venues as the big singles charting acts.

Definitely a big change from even 5 years ago now.

Have had “Save Your Tears” on repeat since the BRITs. Haven’t listened to it much before, but wow - what a track!

Lol it’s been in the top 40 for 4 months! Stellar track though.

Coldplay out of the top 10 and Rag/P!nk #9, we love to see it.

No we don't love at all, BRIT performance was supposed to boost "Higher Power" :(
