Arguable that Ronaldo was off-side interfering with play at the start of that move and his goal stands. As consistent as usual (i.e. not at all) from the bald twat.

Both goals were great. The counter from Portugal was a really good move. Germany starting the same team again is frustrating. Theres a huge over reliance on Bayern players and the manager honestly just doesn't have a clue. The sooner the tournament is over for Germany the sooner he's collecting his P45 and I cant wait.

He was marginally offside but, rightly or wrongly, it doesn't count as he wasn't the player to receive the ball. As far as I understand the current offside law (and it may have changed yet again), the decision was correct.

I feel for that wee lad. Two own goals....

Funny that of the 4 goals germany has had for/against this comp 3 have been own goals

Only 28 in Budapest. 31 in Munich for GERvPOR

They were so bad against Germany. They looked like no threat whatsoever. Both of their goals are from fumbled clearances, thats not even a performance that deserves to qualify from the group stages never mind allegedly win.

Germany starting off HEAPS better, even with a ropey VAR call (doesn't look like Gnabbry got a toe to that at all)

I thought they looked in total control, Germany huffed and puffed but didn’t look dangerous!

Anyway, yeh 30 very hot for that time of the evening. Did say on my bbc weather app it was 32 in Budapest but where’s 2 degrees when it’s that hot!

This is a great game, real end to end, hopefully more goals in this. Portgual are usually lethal on the counter attack but less good at controlling the game and making the play. Still feel this game could go anywhere, but very welcome after yesterdays dull affairs.
Yeh I’m enjoying it, although I did enjoy the England Scotland game yesterday even if it was 0-0 it was a good game, Scotland played excellently!
Yeah this has been a very good match so far, it's not often that a team scores multiple own goals in the same match lol. Coincidently Portugal and Germany faced each other on June 19th during Euro 2008 in a match that Germany won 3-2. There could possibly be a similar type of scenario happening today!

If Ronaldo was offside for Portugal's goal, Havertz was also offside for Germany's third.

Spent most of the first half questioning Havertz call up to the squad and then he scores  Ganz typisch.
