July 26, 20214 yr Some strange goings-on in the album chart this week  Louis Tomlinson is back thanks to HMV's exclusive 100 year vinyl release. Are these releases in limited numbers, if they are its likely most of them will fall out of the chart by Friday.
July 26, 20214 yr oh wow at Dave with 27K already, weren't the anniversary vinyls each limited to 1000? No they all had different amounts available, Walls had the second most with 1500 available.
July 26, 20214 yr Dave has already beaten the first week sales of 'PSYCHODRAMA' by a few hundred! Great to see, his streaming has been holding up well so hopefully on course to be comfortably over 40k for the week if not pushing 50k? (Looking back at Olivia's 1st week midweek performance to compare, her Monday figure was 23k, a little lower than Dave's is today and she ended up just over 50k, I do think Dave will be a little more frontloaded though). Anne-Marie already being over 10k is a little higher than I expected as well, good to have reasonably healthy top 2 sales this week.
July 26, 20214 yr Great sales for Dave!! Did he have any preorders at all considering the short period between announcement and album release?
July 26, 20214 yr No they all had different amounts available, Walls had the second most with 1500 available. If Louis sells them all he will def make a top 100 return.
July 26, 20214 yr If Louis sells them all he will def make a top 100 return. They’ve already all been sold I believe apart from a few stores which said today they had 1 or 2 copies left and the online copies have all gone too so he should make a return.
July 26, 20214 yr Great sales for Dave!! Did he have any preorders at all considering the short period between announcement and album release? The Vinyl preorders for Dave sold out very quickly!
July 27, 20214 yr There's quite a few big albums in the 100 year vinyls list so I'm surprised it's those ones above that are benefitting the most. I would have thought The Libertines and Simply Red's 'Stars' would have been amongst the highest ones! Kate Bush fans are very loyal and even though ‘Hounds of Love’ has been reissued several times, recycled vinyl with a unique colour variation per purchase is a huge draw. Wish I had been on the ball to snap one up. Edited July 27, 20214 yr by Smint

July 27, 20214 yr in other news Demeanor and Woo Baby are finally two different songs so the former is well outside the top 40 now. as is the latter of course, which is the higher of the two.
