The Weeknd’s brand-new single Take My Breath is on track to claim the highest new entry on this week’s Official Singles Chart, currently at Number 9 on the Official Chart: First Look.

The Max Martin-produced disco-pop song could earn the Canadian star his 12th UK Top 10 single this Friday (August 13).

Meanwhile, KSI’s new Lil Wayne collaboration Lose is on course for a Top 10 debut, starting at Number 10. If it holds on to its current position, it will earn KSI his eighth Top 10 single and Lil Wayne his seventh and first in seven years – since his guest feature on Chris Brown’s 2014 hit Loyal.

Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habits is set for a seventh week at Number 1 – his closest competition is The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber’s Stay (2).

Elsewhere in the Top 20, Becky Hill & David Guetta’s Remember is on course to hit a new peak, so far up three places to Number 4, and dance track Talk About by Rain Radio and DJ Craig Gorman is up two spots to Number 15.

Bad Habits looking good for a 7th week then

Will pull it clear of Perfect (6 wks) and closer to I Don’t Care (8 wks) in terms of Ed’s number 1’s

Really good to see Rain Radio up this week. I think I'm maybe being too hopeful by hoping it's a future number 1 but it definitely has that sound. Hopefully it picks up more!

Olivia (at #6) is currently projected to take back the #1 album but Billie's expected to be #2. There's only a few hundred between them today anyway.

Oh of course. Brilliant top 2 anyway

Feels like another #2 coming for Will

I’d rather a 2-40 drop than a 1-40 drop

Will could do it if the label starts pushing like crazy and dropping the prices very cheap

oh just noticed Jealousy, jealousy is in!!! another one x Olivia ;)

that Wizkid song is good too...

but very disappointing entry for The Weeknd all thing considered...

What did Will's last album open with? It's looking like it'll be his first album to miss the top 2, but hey, a 9th album reaching the top 10 is pretty incredible.
That’s good that Olivia is on track for a 6th song from her album to get a top 40! Hopefully it can hold on. Disappointing to see The Weeknd and KSI/Lil Wayne dropping already….

Hope Billie stays Top 5 in both singles and albums.

The ACR clear out is much needed after this week and can Save Your Tears please get gone this time. Hate how half a year still isn't enough to stop big hit singles eclipsing newer ones in the streaming era.

Yah for Will, well deserved, No.1 on an independent label - even on midweeks is alright. Think Lexicon did more on the first day i think.

Isn't that a decent enough lead for Will, it's better than the Capaldi lead he had last time.

I'm sure Will can do it, but he has alot of fan purchases as part of that too i guess...

Top 2 ensured me thinks.
