If the success of the Switch/J9 song masquerading as JLS is anything to go by I'm pretty sure there should be enough casual interest in an actual new JLS song for it to go at least top 40 for a week. I've said top 20. If Westlife could do it...
I went with top 40. Don’t see how they will do with streaming. Most of the discussions I saw around Time was people thinking JLS made a drill song which drove a lot of curiosity listens. Not sure if that will translate with an official single in their more traditional pop/R&B sound (if it is pop as I suspect).

Very dated - might scrape the Top 75 if they have decent promo this week.

JLS SHOULD actually do a drill song, they'll do much better now!

And completely alienate those buying their tour tickets, which I'm sure they wouldn't want to do.

I think this poll should be frozen and a new one started now that we've heard the song... will be interesting to see the difference in how people think they'll do :)
I'm thinking top 40 on hype. If Westlife who are a lot bigger than JLS managed top 20 I can't see JLS doing that tbh.
JLS are a lot more current though than Westlife and are likely to do better on Streaming .

They are on The One Show tonight which should give them a huge boost on iTunes - not sure if they have any other major promo this week?

‘Hello My Love’ was released 2.5 years ago though and streaming has grown massively since then which will go against JLS, plus Westlife were knocking out £2 CD singles and had 3 versions to download to try and offset the streaming deficit.

Either Way JlS I would say have a streaming advantage and likely to be streamed more over Westlife also there’s potentially radio play with Marvin’s connections to Capital where as Westlife would have more CD singles sales advantage .

I think it might do similar to hello my love by westlife chart wise.

Good song but not even close

It does appear that they aren't making a particularly huge splash on streaming so far with them not even being top 100 on Apple oops. Perhaps the success of the fake track was more driven by the absurdity of it being a drill song than anything else then x (although JLS did have a small renaissance on streaming a while ago for some other reason as well iirc?)
Are we talking about predicting the first week or final week? In any case I think people are vastly over-estimating the chances of this, we're not in 2012 any more! I think it might just go top 40?

Well people were definitely over-estimating how well this would do. I guess it will debut Top 75 on Friday and I can't really see it climbing in subsequent weeks unless they've got some serious promotion lined up for it?
