A television special would be perfect.

Not seen any adverts on the TV for the album yet either.

I know the ladies won't but maybe Benny or Bjorn could go on the Graham Norton Show?

any update on the preorders?

but still not sure... those 110K pre-orders from a while back were from the UK only? or worldwide?

^ Definitely given as UK only.

I’m now wondering if ABBA could have the biggest first week of the year (though they’ll probably sell quite little outside the first week and fewer overall than Ed and Adele).

^ Definitely given as UK only.

I doubt they'll have a bigger first week than Adele.

I was actually the FIRST on this forum to suggest Voyage will cross the 200,000 copies barrier. People laughed at me, but it looks like I'm going to have the last laugh.
Adele will have the biggest first week sales easily.

Abba will be second for the year

I’m not sure she will. I think she will do similar to Sheeran’s first week sales tbh!

Thats so strange that they are doing zero promo in the uk

I don’t think it was ever their intention to promote this album - they are all in their 70’s now and even without promo they have sold more copies on pre-order than acts who do every single bit of promo available

I agree with you that Abba is very likely to have the biggest first week sale of the year. It may not sell as well overalll as Ed or Adele but Abba have a broad appeal and I wouldn’t under-estimate them in terms of their longer term potential with this new album.

A lot of people were predicting Ed Sheeran to sell huge numbers in his first week and although he has still done well, he hasn’t sold anywhere near as many copies as many predicted. People also predicted Adele would be number one for ages and yet this week she is barely clinging to the top spot of the singles chart. Adele neither will sell anything like she has with her previous albums but will still do okay. In fact, I have a feeling she could sell less than Ed overall.

She will sell way more than Ed re first week sales. She has been away for long, whereas Ed has been around. I mean he had an album released 2 years ago, and divide was 2017. Adele's last was 2015. Also since she announced, she's remained on top of Amazon pre-orders even on ABBA release week which is insane. I know it's not just about Amazon though.

That said, she's not moving 250,000 in first week. Maybe around 200,000 and that's it. It's 2021 now.

This album is classic ABBA through and through. Definitely doesn’t disappoint. Shame it is only 10 tracks but if nothing else, encourages repeat listens. If general audiences feel the same, this could be quite the consistent streamer.

I think she's gonna do at least double than Ed. For sure not less than 130k. Well know soon.

Agree Totally. I was more then pleasantly surprised by the Album. I actually think "When you Danced with me" may end up being the most popular song on the Album
