Chelsea have withdrawn their request for their FA Cup fixture against Middlesbrough to be played behind closed doors

I think they saw sense and realised it was a daft request.

...or the FA are going to adjust the terms of their license again and allow tickets to be sold but no commercial gain.

FA Cup Semi-Final Draw:

Manchester City v Nottingham Forest/Liverpool

Chelsea v Crystal Palace

FA Cup Semi-Final Draw:

Best possible draw that could have happened, the FA getting it right for once! Looks like my early season prediction of Chelsea making it to the final will come true.

Palace have decent pedigree in this cup in recent years including that final in 2016 so wouldn't write them off completely although the prospect of a same final as the league Cup is pretty likely. Wonder when was the last season both domestic Cup finals featured the same 2 teams?

The FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Manchester City should be moved from Wembley, say the mayors of both cities.

The game is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 16 and 17 April.

However, engineering works mean no trains are running from either city to or from London from 15 to 18 April.

Andy Burnham, the mayor of Greater Manchester, and Liverpool mayor Steve Rotheram both say the game needs to be at a "more accessible stadium".

In a joint letter to the Football Association, Mr Burnham and Mr Rotheram said: "Without quick, direct trains, many people will be left with no option but to drive, fly, make overly complex rail journeys or book overnight accommodation.

"When you factor in the rising costs of fuel, it is clear that supporters of both clubs attending this game will face excessive cost and inconvenience - and that is before any environmental impact is considered.

"There are also significant logistical and safety considerations. With thousands of fans making the long journey south, there will be huge numbers converging on the M6, which is likely to be stretched to capacity by bank holiday traffic.

"A single accident would risk the entire motorway being brought to a standstill and fans missing the kick-off."

We've got to endure more of this quadruple BS for a bit longer which is fuelled more by the media as is always the case. Don't see it happening myself, they'll slip up in at least one of the competitions.
If Chelsea make it to the final then I think they will win the FA Cup this season as their heart and soul will go into it as they have almost nothing else to play for now that they're quite comfortably in the top 4. Also losing the previous two finals and their off field issues will spur them on. Champions League will probably be Liverpool's though, Premier League will be City's.
Liverpool are going to win the Quadruple. You can quote me when this happens.
