It's great that it is back exclusively free-to-air, the FA Cup.

Agree with this. Be interesting to see what happens in the latter stages if all the big teams get there, airing on free to air TV is good brand exposure. Guess the problem really is the prestige is not there in the same way as the Premier League/Champions League as the rewards are way higher for those two.

That's twice now in recent seasons that Arsenal have been knocked out of the FA Cup at the 3rd round by Nottingham Forrest. It was a deserved win for Nottingham Forrest as well. That is a good draw for Kidderminster in the 4th round, they should get a decent amount of money from that.
Best thing about the cup this year is lack of replays, always hated them. Lots of away teams would always play for a draw in the first leg to get the replay back on their turf and earn some extra TV money. Now it's decided on the day the quality and urgency was so much higher. Long may that continue.

Sounds like the Villa goal was disallowed for the offside rather than the foul - would have thought that would have been a really harsh goal to be disallowed.

Thought Utd were poor (again), but in to the next round I guess.

That was not a good performance at all from us and I don't know what is going on but Rashford looked so off and quite frankly depressed throughout the match and even after he got substituted. Bruno hasn't looked like his old usual self either recently. At least we won which was the minimum requirement.

Rashford has been terrible for a long, long time now. I always thought he would become a top player, but he just hasn't kicked on at all. He's a player who thrives on confidence, but he's been consistently dreadful even before he started fraying in to politics.

Yeah I agree, ever since the whole school meals stuff his game's dropped off massively to the point where you have to question whether his heart's in it anymore.
Don’t think I have ever seen a worse United performance that the one on Monday, Villa dominated then over the park but they got the goal so the rest will be forgotten I guess. Felt like they were looking a reason to disallow the Villa goal too.

You can't have watched us much this season if you thought that was our worst game :P

The disallowed goal was strange, they said it was for offside right? But Ings wasn't. However it was right to be disallowed but instead for the foul on Cavani.
