Rollergirl had some hits in my chart and even one chart topper "Superstar".

What a catchy tune!

I remember Dear Jessie, actually thought it would be a big hit but it wasnt.

Superstar and Geisha Dreams were reasonably big hits here. Though I'm not sure how much more you can get out of the gimmick of a rollerskating pop star.

 

I might get her album one of these days if I ever run across it. Pretty much unabashed 90s/early 00s pop.

Were there two videos for flop pop no.25 two weeks top 40 Dear Jessie?! :lol: In that club video, she has to keep balancing on thr skates, so she is sweeping her hands around as the only dance movr she has!

 

It is so, so 90s to have a rollerskating gimmick for a pop star, where she rollerskates, and has everyone else on rollerskates too, in EVERY SINGLE VIDEO!! :rofl:

I wish that she had been more successful if only for the reason that we're now denied the sight of her doing tours on roller-skates as she gets ever older, imagine her touring as rollergirl in her 60s.

To be fair, I'd assume one was for the original 1999 German/EU release and one was made for the 2000 UK release. :kink:

'Dear Jessie' is a bit of a bop with the Alice Deejay style music and energetic video!
